What do you always save calories for on UD

One of the ways I stay with my rotations so diligently is that I give in to my sweet tooth. I always save enough calories on UD for one half of my beloved SF LC Simply Lite chocolate bars. Sometimes dark sometimes milk chocolate. I absolutely believe that this is one of the keys to my success of not throwing in the towel esp on those hormonal days. The other day at the store I bought a couple of regular candy bars to have one on my next UD, just for a change. But I was suddenly terrified to eat one, and I didn't. I was really scared that even though the calories were the same as in my chocolate bars, the candy had sugar and carbs. I still try to only eat carbs in moderation. I still eat cauliflower mash instead of mashed potatoes, and rarely eat bread that sort of thing. I gave them to my DH. My question is, is there something special that you save calories for on all or most UD that you kind of consider an indulgence? Something that seems totally like a non diet food. Something you just adore?If someone took my chocolate away it would really be a mood changer for me to say the least. Please share your sweet/ salty tooths? Everyone has at least one weakness and on Juddd we actually get to give in and still lose

Sweets...real sweets. I try to leave room for wine, but I usually end up eating the chocolate instead. I love when there is room for wine!

Well, not always, but often, pudding.

Favorite ready-made, Kozy Shack Glutin Free Chocolate.

Favorite when the family will be sharing, Jello Cook N Serve Chocolate, which is totally decadent-seeming to me but doesn't affect me as badly as a cake or cookie.

I try to make this a part of supper, not lunch, btw, so it won't have time to cause me any long-lasting sweet cravings.

Today's an UD and it will probably be red wine AND chocolate! So far I'm only at 260 calories so I'll have a food feast for dinner and after!

Well, homemade ghee, actually. It makes me happy just to smell it
I just have to have some veggies & ghee, or toast & ghee, or even one tiny cracker with ghee.

I probably have Cheddar cheese every UD, but it's sort of a staple more than a treat.
Bleu cheese, on the other hand...I think that makes any day special!

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Honestly, if I could get all my calories in from chocolate I would be one happy girl I am in love with chocolate I have it often on my DDs and it hasn't bothered me yet. I am so excited I can have what I love and still lose weight. How fabulous is that Yay for JUDDD

Also on UDs I will sometimes have a latte. I drink my coffee black on DDs because I am stingy with my calories.

Cheese, and it has to be good gourmet cheese. Ever since I started JUDDD, I've become even more of a food snob. Everything has to be the best quality, best tasting ever to me otherwise I don't feel like it's worth my calories. The other thing I like to save calories for (and not just on UDs but DDs even) is bacon.

I don't usually crave sweets unless it's around the two hormonal times of the month. During those times I'll save calories for something chocolatey or sweet (usually my homemade protein shake or some dark chocolate), but for normal times, there's rarely an UD where I don't have some delicious cheese, usually more than one kind. Bacon is a close second. Avocado probably follows next. Even if these are high in calories, I have to make room for them because I thrive on high fat and it tastes so good to me.

Lately since it's been pretty hot I've been saving room for an ice cream drumstick after supper. Don't "have" to have it every UD, though. Just knowing I *can makes so much difference in how I approach food.

Hey, Sheridan...is it a Texan thing or something?...cause I am having a drumstick this very evening! That isn't really my weakness though. I like bread. I allow wonderful bread usually when we eat out , BUT, it really can add up quickly, so I have to be careful. Kroger's has a wonderful little cinnamon danish too, (their brand), I just discovered,that is delightful and only 230 cals. Yep, breads and cinnamon rolls I fit in when I can!! Heaven to me. Believe it or not,they even trump chocolate!

I use Dottie's recipe and the only thing I do different is add 3 tbsp of hwc and it is just right....

I am wondering is there a reason why some of you eat the cocoa powder/ coconut oil candy ( cocoa crack?) rather than regular chocolate or SF chocolate?

Icecream ! Being on hcg diet for the better part of the year I missed icecream and cheese the most. So when I preplan my UD I make sure I have the cheese and my breyers carb smart already in my diary before adding any other foods LOL

Ditto and you can control what you put into it. I keep it in the freezer at all times just in case. I pour my bark over raw almonds and I use the recipe with some sea salt in it. I am reducing the amount of AS each time I make it so get used to someday just having a little stevia in it.

Wine (some UD's)and every UD I have a chewy Nature Valley Granola bar. It has chocolate/sweet and salty and has 10 g of protein and only 6 sugars!

Since the UUAD days on vacation, I am getting better. But most UDs I still seem to suddenly remember I have hundreds of calories to go and grab anything in the pantry....which, yes seems to be stocked with dark chocolate and red, red wine.

I am trying to get away from AS as much as possible. I use only stevia in mine. . Aaaaaaand ... It's so incredibly easy to make. Way easier than running to the grocery with two little kids.

Vanessa, I love chocolate also and fell in love with Chocolove Dark Chocolate bars. They do have sugar though, so I try and just have a square or two when I have it.

The main reason that I am addicted to the cocoa crack, is the amazing ways that you can individualize it to meet your cravings! I have added natural nut butters, raw macadamias and blueberries and have found that I can make my cocoa crack as dark or light chocolate as I want. I go to the Natural Foods Grocer and pick up their high quality organic cocoa powder and mix it with Nutiva EVCO and I am in love.

Like so many others on here,... chocolate!

For up days I try to save calories for a couple of squares of dark chocolate with almonds and sea salt

...Cocobon wine (Trader Joes)

And upon occasion, tortilla chips and a margarita ( those are special days for me because I LOVE to go to Mexican restaurants).

And last but not least... butter and HWC. I love Kerry Gold butter and once in a blue moon, some HWC in my coffee!

Also, when I have plenty of calories left to spend, I add a big dollop of real whipping cream on top of my little piece of cocoa crack! I can't tell you how wonderfully decadent this is!
