How often do you step on the scale?

Just curious... I was in such a habit of weighing every day, but then I noticed that if I was up a bit more one day than expected, I'd really be in a foul mood all day. So I realized that I personally had to stop... or at least stop weighing daily.

But part of me also has a curiosity, so I'd like to see what's happening on the scale... see if any not-normally-in-my-diet foods trigger a spike or something.

Of course, I'm more in maintenance/see-what-happens mode (1800 UD, 600-700 DD), so maybe for me it might be different. But if I do decide to eventually lose a little more for sure, I'm curious what others do regarding getting on the scale... and I thought many of you others would be curious about this topic too.

So please tell us (1) if you're JUDDDing for maintenance or weightloss, and (2) how often you step on that scale.

I weigh every day in sporadic bursts and only first thing in the morning after using the loo, followed by periods of random weighs at once or twice a week.
I have been more maintaining this last month, ready to get back to weight loss mode, if my body will cooperate. I need my fat burning mojo lit up!

Start Date: Aug 2011/I was maintaining since April 2012
maintenance, daily, sometimes twice (it's a fun game to weigh before bed and try to predict the morning weight). Of course, since I've been the exact same weight for 15 days in a row, there's not much excitement there. LOL

I'm more on the maintenance side of weight loss as I ease into goal weight, and I always weigh once daily in the morning.

1st month I weighed once a week - after the first down day of the week
2nd month (where I am now) - the morning of every up day before eating/drinking
Next month -- 3rd month -- I am going to try weighing daily

(for some reason these little "plans" help me get through the month)

Completely sporadically. I spend some nights at home, where I have a scale, and many nights at our cabin, where there is no scale. I like this arrangement. I still feel accountable, but I don't become super neurotic, which could happen easily. I bought this scale to do Juddd. First scale in twenty years, because I had a lousy relationship with the numbers when I was younger.

Weight loss mode. Every morning my scale is available.

If I bounce more than a pound, I don't let it bother me, I just try to figure out why. I consider this 'training for maintenance'.

I guess you've been winning your guessing game for a while! LOL Take a trip to a Golden Corral, and seat yourself near the desserts. See if you notice a change the next day... just to see if you can make things more interesting!

I would probably go to 1x a week in maintenance, it would not be in my best interest to constantly focus on my weight once the downward tracking is behind me.

I checked my recent list, and it appears (weight-loss mode) that I weigh approximately every 2-4 weeks, first thing in the morning before that pesky shower water weighs me down!!!
