Me - 1 TOM - 0

I actually beat out my hormones this month, I can hardly believe it. Last week I was PMSing and lost 3 1/2 lbs. This week during TOM I lost another pound. I was preparing myself to not lose anything those two weeks much less lose 4 1/2 lbs: I've lost 24 lbs since January, I really felt so hopeless when I started. When I stalled on Adkins I was really lost, then as you all know, I was blessed to have found Juddd. Sometimes I still feel like I didn't really lose the weight, but then I feel how loose my clothes feel and I'm reassured that I have indeed gotten smallerI have been trying for so long to regain some control over my weight, that it's difficult for me to believe the numbers I'm seeing on the scale lol. Then again I was in disbelief when they went up so high also omg I'm one of those Juddders that stay almost obsessively close to my rotations/ calories as when I didn't I lost almost nothing. It wasn't because I was cheating, I just needed to go a couple of hundred calories lower on my DD. The difference was night and day. I still can't believe how 200 calories made all the difference in me losing vs not losing. As always one of the most important elements in the equation are my lovely Juddd Buddds without whom I could never have lasted.

Vanessa that is a triumph, hormones can so easily play havoc with us. Not having any of that stuff to worry about is the one real joy of growing older.

I am so delighted that you have found your 'sweet spot' as someone described it.

JUDDD BUDDDs are indeed invaluable. Thanks for being one of us.

Embrace a little hunger. It is the sign of healing.

Hunger is not an emergency.

It's not what you eat between Christmas and New Year that makes you fat, it's what you eat between New Year and Christmas.

WOE: JUDDD/PHD, LC now that my BG is getting weird
Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
I am post-menopausal but the first four months of JUDDD I definitely had monthly, hormonal, eat-the-pantry-and-want-need-more DDs. In May, month five, I noticed the DD I expected to starve was really not bad at all. I wonder if, over time, our bodies adjust?

- Nancy
GOAL 10/3/12
Still at goal 2/6/13
Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).
STILL below goal 11/21/15

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.
