The clothes dont lie. :)

Forgot to mention last night before i went out to dinner.

I have 2 pairs of skinny jeans that were just right on me, except for after about an hour of wearing them, they were a tiny bit baggy in the legs. (because they are supposed to be figure hugging), anyways, after my weight gain, (9kg), i could still put them on but they were not very comfortable for long periods of time, felt like they were cutting off circulation in the calf area. Well, i have not worn them for a couple of weeks because of the above reason and put them on last night. I remember sitting on the bed dreading having to put them on. Well, long behold, they werent that tight in the calf area anymore. , and i could actually grab the fabric and pull it away from my leg. Even the button zipper felt better, still abit tight. Ive always been able to do them up after weight gain but had a massive muffin happening. Now last night the muffin was still there but they didnt seem as uncomfortable.
I dare not weigh myself yet and will wait till the following sunday or monday, whichever will be the morning after a dd.

One thing I'm going to start suggesting to newbies is to dig out some old pants they haven't been able to get into for a while, or if that's not possible, go to a thrift/charity shop and buy some that are too small to fit into. Periodically try those pants on and be amazed at the progress. This is especially helpful for those times when the scale just pogo-sticks around the same couple of numbers and we think we're "stalled" and nothing's happening. The pants don't lie!

I have been doing just that. And since my target pants now fit I need to dig deeper into my closet and find a smaller pair to repeat the process. When the scale bounced up 4 pounds I tried on my target pants and they still fit so I know I did not gain 4 pounds overnight.

Wonderful Mitsa!

I got dressed for church this morning, and realized I needed to change when my dd told me my blouse was way too big on me. My skirt was a little big, but the blouse covered the waist, so it could have worked. I was able to wear a dress I haven't worn since before having children, and it fit me better now than it did then.

Awesome everyone. Well done. I'm a little flat this morning. Drove my elderly dad to hospital late last night. He is still there. I've taken my kids to school and come straight to him. I've thrown some snacks in a bag but don't care about ud or dd today.
