It's Saturday. What are you eating?

UD here, with all-day family get-together so I will just be trying to keep track and be sensible, aiming to stay under 2,000.

Breakfast - Whey protein shake with coconut milk

I went a little over my 600 DD yesterday with:
apple
omelet with veggies
and then almost all of a Subway Tuna 6-inch on flatbread, in 2 sittings.

and I worried because even though calories were good, sodium was high.

Guess what? Even with that day of pleasant, filling meals, I lost a half-pound.

Dawn, so happy that your husband had such positive news yesterday! Good job making sure he felt celebrated.

UD!!! 1704 target. Had a good rotation and am back down to where I was 2 weeks ago....sigh....

b-french toast made with lite bread, and egg sub, ffhnf, Splenda, cinnamon, vanilla, sauteed in 1 t clarified butter. Spread with 1t butter and 1T REAL maple syrup. 2 slices lovely bacon. Cofee with Splenda and ffhnh.

I had 2T syrup in ******, but found that 1T was more than enough. Funny how measuring and weighing makes you cognizant of what you are really eating.

l- not sure

d-I am brining a duck breast and plan to slowly saute it in its own fat for crisp skin and medium rare meat. Not sure about veg. I am performing in Carmina Burana tonight, so it will be an early dinner, and hope I have some cals left over when I get home, famished..

DD and no real plan yet.

B: maybe nothing, maybe just coffee, maybe a protein shake. Max 90 calories.

Taking Keira roller skating from 11:00 - 1:00. All they have there is junk, so I'll probably have a diet Coke.

L: You know I'm probably going to have chili!

D: We've been invited to John's Incredible Pizza with friends. It's a pizza/pasta buffet. They do have a limited salad bar. Who knows where my priorities will lie after roller skating?!

D: Either some steamed shrimp and pork dumplings for 360 + a vanilla frozen yogurt bar for 90 or a shirataki stir fry with shrimp for 300ish + froyo bar

L: 2 eggs over easy, 4 slices bacon, chicken salad with feta & artichokes
D: sautéed scallion oysters with smoked gouda, spicy ground beef chili with asiago topped with fromage blanc and minced onions
S: homemade chocolate protein shake with 1 egg

1570 calories total, so there's plenty leftover for snacks which I'll decide on when we go out shopping today.

My dinner at the Italian was wonderful. Calamari and salad, just a nice 7 or so rings, then a delicious pasta dish which I asked to be a little smaller than they usually serve, (they are friends).

Then an espresso. 1/2 bottle of red and a small Sambucca.
