leaving juddd

I just wanted to say bye to everyone. Ill still be around but juddd just isn't working for me. I started gaining again and I'm just tired of the counting and stressing and obsessing. I cant do it anymore. I'm just going to eating natural and clean and listening to my body. I already feel better and am down in weight after 4 days of just eating normal. I liked juddd but I need a break from 'dieting'. I have been doing it too long and everything seems to be backfiring. So ill be around just not doing juddd. Just eating and watching portions and we will see what happens.
Thank you guys for all of the support. This is the best group ever.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

You have to do what's best for you. Sounds like a change is just what your body needs. If I'm reading right, you are below goal? So are working to maintain now. And that should give you more freedom to relax a bit. Best wishes.

Thank you guys. I was at goal but I'm not now. I'm about 5 lbs higher and kept going up for some reason. I love everyone here so I will keep checking in and may go back yo juddd eventually but man I need a break. I think I'm actually causing some of my own issues because I'm stressing and obsessing so much. I think some is also hormones. My monthly is worse than ever, I'm breaking out like crazy, gaining weight, feeling moody all the time so I know there are some things going on with my body so I have to get this one stresser until control for a little while and just relax for a bit.

I can completely understand your frustration right now, but I'm sorry to see you leave us, even if just for awhile. You KNOW how much I loved having you do JUDDD with us and overcome some things...

There may well come a time when you're ready to JUDDD again. I think sometimes we just need a break from.. not just a diet or a plan, but just *where we are in life* for awhile. And that can necessitate stepping away from a few of the things that we're sort of rigid about at the time. I can understand.

I did want to tell you about a woman I knew years ago who lost weight and maintained. She did it by switching off from diet to diet, plan to plan. For awhile she'd low carb and enjoy the eggs and bacon, the steaks and butter, the coffees rich with heavy cream, etc., and then she'd maybe switch to a vegetarian plan and feast on such a bounty of vegetables and fruits that the table almost caved under the weight. All the glorious, delicious harvest from the earth that her heart desired. And when that became boring, it was on to the next plan. It worked for her. I've always sort of thought that maybe I'd try that someday.....

In the meantime, stop in occasionally to visit here. You know I wish you nothing but great good luck and success in managing your health as you need to for awhile. Hugs!

I had a story published in Cricket Magazine years ago... That is a children's magazine which is supposed to be a bit *literary*.

But, no.. I don't *write*. Right now, I garden. LOLOL And when I'm caught up with that, I need to do some deep cleaning and downsizing of the collection of stuff in this house. I think it might be time to do ebay again this fall.

I actually think that is a great way to do it! I am taking a two week break from JUDDD to do Atkins (started this morning), then will go back to JUDDD. I'd actually like to do 2 weeks of JUDDD, two weeks of Atkins, two weeks of Weight Watchers and 2 weeks of vegetarian...just to keep the variety.
