Upcoming Surgery next week

Good morning JUDDD family, wanted to share that I will be having knee replacement surgery next Wednesday. They will be doing the right one first, then in mid-July, they will replace the other one. A bit nervous, but I have heard many success stories, so I know this is definitely the right thing to do. I'm just so tired of hurting ... Please have me in your thoughts and prayers during this time, thank you family!

I will pray too! My brother is looking at surgery in August and I know the pain that you speak of. Hope you have lots of support during your recovery! I know that what saved my friend who was bedfast, was a ton of books and movies.

Hugs to you! My Dad had his knee replaced a year or so ago, and he's very pleased with the results. He's able to get down on the floor and crawl around with my granddaughter!

Hope everything goes smoothly, Valerie. I had hip replacement revision surgery 5 yrs ago. One piece of advice: if friends/family say, "let me know if there's anything I can do," take them up on it! Ask them to grocery shop and prepare meals that you can freeze and reheat later. Also, ask them to visit often. It can be isolating when you're stuck at home and can't drive for a while. Wishing you a pain-free and successful recovery!
