Accurate calories?

I went out to lunch at Red Robin today. I spent 30 minutes yesterday planning everything I would eat today and checking Red Robin's website nutritional facts and decided on the Chicken Ensenada. The numbers I got from RR were 441 with one piece of chicken and 704 with 2; I budgeted for the two. Now that I'm home I was looking further and the numbers are vastly different everywhere I look....a range of several hundred calories apart. I thought I was planning carefully but now I have no idea if I'll be over or under for this UD! Guess I'll email them and yell at them instead of at you kind folks!

Along the "kind folks" line, I want to thank everyone who posts so knowledgeably each day. I'm not a frequent poster but I read every day and that helps keep me on track. Sunday will be my 8 week mark and I have lost 13 pounds and I'm very happy with that. This is something I can do!

Lynn, that's fantastic progress! GOOD for you!!

I would take the numbers from Red Robin as fact. They are the source, kwim? They are more invested and knowledgeable about their product than anyone.

Thanks for the replies! I need to remember that it's a long journey and miscounting a little won't affect things very much. My new mantra is "what's your hurry?"

You should be very proud of yourself for your careful planning. I wouldn't worry another minute about the calorie difference, you cant do anything about it now. Tomarrow is a new beginning, another day to get it right.
