You are not alone. I get GI issues from it.

It can, if I eat very much of it. Miracle/shirataki noodles don't do this at all. But the noodles are glucomannan in a completed product, and the noodles/blocks/etc. are *set* with lime, which I don't use here at home. LOL

Any more I only use the gluc powder to thicken sauces and gravy that I eat on DDs. For UDs, I'm using old fashioned flour or corn starch to thicken!

I figured it out this week-end....

For me, one cup is good....not much of a problem..... try to eat it all day (anything over a cup) and I don't feel so good. Kind of a shame because I have come up with recipes I actually like. Ah well......

Are the issues running to the bathroom or not running to the bathroom at all? Never tried this product but am interested in it. I constantly have to deal with tummy problems (maybe from having gallbladder out?) and don't need to add to that .
