New and feeling really good!

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me posting this.

I've just completed my first week of JUDDD, and have lost 4 pounds. I'm feeling really good about this and confident that's it's a way of eating that I can stick to. I've been trying to lose weight since the beginning of the year, not by doing any particular programme, but just eating more healthily and trying to cut down on eating so much junk - but I really struggled, and so from Jan 1st until May 7th had only lost 8 pounds. And now I've already lost another 4 in one week! It doesn't sound like a massive thing, but to me it's great - it's really given my confidence a boost, and I really think I can do this now.

I thought I might struggle today as I'm working from home and it's a Down Day - but I had a glass of water with lemon juice for breakfast and it's now 1pm, and I'm not even hungry! I haven't even opened the fridge!

I've got a huge way to go - I need to lose around 50 pounds - but right now I feel like I can do it!

Thanks for all your informative posts - it's really helpful, and a good motivation to see how well other people are doing, and to see ways of handling things when they're not going so well.

I'm actually enjoying getting on the scales every day - mad!

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Welcome, welcome, Mrs. Smith! (A previous name of mine too. LOL)

I think you are going to love JUDDD. If you've already done it a week, and already lost some weight with it, you are well on your way. This isn't generally thought to be a fast way to lose weight, just a nice modest and fairly steady way. There are pauses with no weight loss along the way sometimes, but they fall by the wayside and our weight loss picks up once again.

And if we have our numbers set correctly, and if we respect our calorie ceilings, and if we really do measure and track calories, JUDDD will almost always bring us to a slim body and improved figure! Yay!

Glad you are here with us! Hope you'll read and post often. Visiting this forum every day is a very good way to stay motivated.
