Ran my first 5K today

So, I was really out of shape at the beginning of the year and decided that one of my goals was to be able to run (okay, jog slowly) a 5K. I've been working up to it since January. Today was the big day and I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but I DID IT!! It took me 41 minutes to do 3.1 miles. There were seriously people walking faster than I was jogging, but I didn't want to walk any of it. My goal was to jog and even if I was slow, I was going to keep jogging. So, that's my exciting news of the day. Feeling good.
