Hopping back on that wagon that ran me over...

BOOO! I fell off the wagon last week, got run over, it backed up, hit me again. But I'm getting up today, brushing myself off and getting myself back together. I've also decided I'm only going to weigh after down days. I think scale anxiety is making me crazy. I knew this going in, and I accepted that I wanted to see the bounce. Now I don't anymore lol. I got so sad after a few high cal UD's (including 2 birthday celebrations) that I got caught up in the "UGH" feeling. Anywho. Back to the grind today. I'll weigh only after DD and go from there.

Onward to May! A new month...

Girl~ You will be just fine.. Some times life happens.. what we need to remember is... this is a way of life now.. never to beat our selves up over those joyious times where we indulge. One other thing to remember is, theres no way you can gain 3 or 4 pounds of FAT over night. it take 3,500 calories to equal one pound gained . So your goin to be just fine!! ~

I'm definitely breathing deep this morning. I had 4 days in a row, including one with many ice golden beverages at a NASCAR race. But I am back...I know JUDDD works. I mean come on...the scale budged after being stuck for a month after just a couple of days on JUDDD! That's something in itself. Thanks for the words, and Eieio, you can definitely jump back on - here's my hand!!! REACH!

Reaching down to pull you and Ei back on the wagon, and then strapping you in tight.

All is forgiven with JUDDD, just get back in the groove and you'll be seeing losses in no time.

I fell off with you and now I am on board with my seatbelt tighted up ready to keep on the wagon. I know life will happen and not every day will be perfect, but I will only let the happens occur occasionally, not just on a whim.

YaY! At least you didn't abandon JUDDD and your JUDDD BUDDDS for good!

I agree with only weighing after a DD. Well, unless you LIKE seeing that bounce!!

NO! Hate it! I really think that's what messed with me the most!

I'm already a really slow loser, and that's enough to cause anxiety. It's one thing to accept the bounce, I know it will happen. A total other thing to try to convince your mind it's OK.

And now my stress level is elevated and I'm worried. And my rotations are going to change a lot. I went to the doc today and now have to have a colonoscopy on Wednesday! Liquid diet tomorrow and procedure day Wednesday. Sheesh!!

On the plus side, you'll be really well cleaned out and might lose a little just from that.

Sorry you have to deal with that.

On a board I used to go to one lady had the BEST falling off the wagon analogy. She said, "Not only did I fall off the wagon, I dove over the cliff into the creek way down below." Cracks me up. I always get a visual of me swan diving over a cliff!

I think with any diet we can fall off the wagon. What seems to help me stay on it is being prepared with making meals ahead of time. otherwise the hungry monster comes out!! lol

Atta girl, Traci! Way to get back on the rotation. And that's really all it is with JUDDD... there's no failure - you just keep going with the rotation and things have a way of sorting themselves out. KUTGW, my JUDDD bud!

Don't see four UDs in a row or whatever as falling off the wagon necessarily, it's just a small break in the routine - who cares about that? It's like going to work. Normally you go to work, and then sometimes you have a few days off, and then you're back into work again. Just because you had a small break in the routine doesn't really mean anything.

There's no fail around here. The odd blip maybe, but what would life be without them? If there's 52 weeks in the year and you take a grand total of 4 off, that's nothing.

Thanks all! I'm on a forced DD today lol. Clear liquid diet all day for my lovely "procedure" tomorrow

I guess I'll have another DD tomorrow since I can't eat until well after 4pm, then I'll get back to a normal rotation. Here's to a little WHOOSH after all this nonsense!!

You just had a little vacation. People do it all the time. Go on vacation, gain a little, come home and get back into rotations and whoosh, it's gone again. Your vacation just wasn't planned.

Scooting over to make room on the seat for anyone else who needs to jump back up here.
