Keeping it simple, maybe some tuna and salad, broth, etc.
I picked up some low sodium tuna, will try that today, maybe.

Thanks so much Sophiethecat, very much appreciate that - it goes different for me; seems like when I'm laying down, I feel better, but being here at work, the longer I sit at my desk, the worse I seem to feel ... Really looking forward to the weekend!!

Just giving an update; I spoke to my doctor and she is prescribing me some prescription prilosec, which is what I wanted her to do, yes! So prayerfully, this will give me some relief over the weekend, I'll pick it up today after work. However, she did say that if this doesn't help, I will have to go get the scope done (where they look down my throat to see what's going on down there, yuck!)

Received my Sun Warrior protein powder today, so I plan to have a shake for dinner tonight, updating my menu with that - haven't eaten much today, so the shake will be good nourishment for me - Sophie, pls. keep us posted on how things go with your appointment, feel better ...

Oh, so glad you got something to help you out, Valerie! I'm on the OTC version of this, and it does seem to help some. I think my problem is gallbladder predominantly, but my stomach is involved too with the burning and all... Anyway, I may be getting scoped and scanned as well, but I just want to know for sure what's going on so bad that I will take most whatever they have to do to me, lol. I will let you know how things go on Mon. Thanks.

I had 2 cups of coffee and a bowl of cereal with milk for breakfast, lunch was a 300 cal burger, small bowl of melon, then 2 cookies, a 100 cal bag of popcorn, a 100 cal brownie, probably more stuff... then I met DH for dinner and had an enchilada meal at Puerto Vallarta restaurant!!! And the munchies are still here!! So, I think I'll have a couple more cookies... and start again tomorrow. I don't like these kinds of days but I get them occasionally and my pants are STILL getting baggy!!!
