DD Eating-out Finds

I love the DD staples thread and the 'finds' thread as my life can be all about convenience at times. I'm starting an Eating-out Finds thread and a Mini-Mart Snack thread. I hope that is ok with everyone. I'd love options other than "SIDE SALAD" but don't have time to search for calorie values for everything at a drive through or popping into a gas station and walking out empty handed...and empty bellied.

Thanks in advance!

Subway has a few subs that have under 300 calories--load up with veggies and I add vinegar, salt and pepper.


This is all I can think of. See why I need help!!!

Chik Fil A has wonderful salads, and their child sized nuggets are very doable for a DD.

I also love Panera Bread "You Pick 2" menu and get the Thai Chicken Salad and a cup of low fat Chicken Noodle Soup for a great DD meal!

Chickfila where I live also now has grilled nuggets! I plan on having them tomorrow night for dinner w/ the collard greens they also serve. Mine is one of the original CFA Dwarf Houses so not sure they sell this at the other locations but I LOVE the grilled nuggets!

Only 125 calories total for McDonald's Ceasar Salad (the NO chicken option) with Balsamic Vinegar. A nice fresh, decent size salad and the dressing is good!

KFC grilled chicken - 2 drumsticks at 180 and greenbeans at 25. A little pricy but I was tired of salads.

**Thought I'd mention this just as a funny aside. I was having a very up and away day several days ago and noticed my fries carton and Big Mac carton had the nutritional info on them - at McD's. LOL, as if I needed any reminder that I was being really bad!

KFC sounds fabulous right about now!

I saw the nutrition info on the McDonalds fry container too! I'm sure its scary what is on some of those but I was honestly glad to have it. I saw it...plugged it into ************ and realized I still had some calories left for the day!

All of these sound great! Really! I just had a fat free "weiners and sauerkraut" with a side of peas so, yeah, I could go for one of these others! (Honestly my supper seemed huge for the 100-150 calories it was!)

The ********* app has an incredible database including most restaurants and brand name foods, plus a bar code scanner. I find it indispensible! I have also grabbed nutrition pamphlets from places like extreme pita, tim hortons, etc. and if it's not in the app database you can easily add to it with the info for items from the menu.
