Wild Weekend

So, last Thursday DH and I rushed to Washington DC for three days of visit monuments (and snack), enjoy catching up with family (while eating), and explore the city (and it's restaurants). Basically, and intentionally, three UUADs.

Yesterday morning (DD) I was up three pounds (not bad, I was expecting more). This morning 2.5 of them are gone.

I JUDDD!

Hey Sunday, I am not at maintenance yet. I suspect I have 15 - 20 pounds to go. My stats haven't changed for a long time because I think I stalled myself by losing track and under-eating on UDs. Hopefully, those stats will change again soon.

I totally agree though. I adore having so many maintainers hanging in here and helping us plan our futures!!!

Sounds like a wonderful time Nancy! I can't help wondering if we eat less than we think because we are "conditioned" to eat a certain amount and sort of just stop when we're supposed to. (except for maybe a few more desserts or other goodies!!) Just a thought. REGARDLESS, we CAN, and it doesn't "cost" much to fix it!!! How great is that?

Oh, and after losing, our tummys surely have shrunk and we don't hold as much!!! Hope Hope From what I hear, there IS some "magic" involved!!!

Brilliant my dear friend. You deserve to enjoy the UDs and see the loss after your DD.

Lots of food, fun things to do, monuments, museums, the list is endless!!! And here I sit at my secretary's desk in the heart of DC, about 3 blocks away from the White House!!! I think that at nighttime, the city comes alive with white lights on the branches of the trees, enormous spotlights shining on the monuments, it is like a fairytale ... Soooooo glad you got to enjoy the Nation's Capital!!!!

Oh Valerie, DH and I both have family in and around DC. Plus, nine years ago DH spent almost a year living on K street on a business assignment. You live in what I think is frequently one of the most fascinating and exciting cities in the world. We head there as often as we can.

Nancy, I like you style of "sight seeing"!!! I am really good at doing that too!!! congrats on losing it all and only gaining 3 lbs!!!

My question is.... IF you were on maintence would you do the maintaince DD or have to lower it to the "weight loss mode" DD to lose those extra pounds?

I hear people say they continued there rotation but I wasn't sure which one of them would take the weight off?

Hahahaha, I work right on K Street, small world!! Just yesterday when I left work, the police had their cars sideways to stop traffic at all 4 intersections, and then I see the motorcade with President Obama in the second car, flags on the front of the car, and of course secret service and police all around - I see those motorcades all the time, and they never cease to fascinate me! Yeah, DC is an amazing city!!

Hey Cutie!

That is a very interesting question! I can theorize it both ways. Instead of guessing, I am going to open a new thread and ASK our maintainers what they do.

Personally, I suspect when that time comes I will go back to weight-loss level DDs and UDs just because I will want to get those sirtuin enzymes pumped up and ready to do their health thing asap.
