Hormone Hell DD

Today is a DD and I'm PMSing all over the place! I woke up really hungry and just eating a little something made me even more hungry. I have a pint of salted carmel gelato with dark chocolate pieces in the freezer right next to the Belgian milk chocolate gelato. It's there in case I might want to indulge in a half cup on an up day on a blue moon. But both flavors are calling my name and have been all day. Also, I'm really feeling cranky or near tears or both all day. The perfect recipe for a DD failure. But I refuse to take momentary comfort in the gelato and will wait until later tonight for the much better and longer lasting feeling of peace that I will get from control and sucess. Just knowing that I have all of you to tell this to and knowing that you know EXACTLY what I am talking about makes it a little better right away. Also knowing that tomorrow I actually can have that half cup of gelato is a big life saver, maybe I'll go to bed right now lol. You all. Thanks for listening and please share your coping tricks if you have some!

Something hot to drink often helps me. I'm a huge coffee fan but at night a lot of people won't drink coffee so maybe some tea?

I also love baths on a DD. Feels so nurturing and gets me away from thinking about food.

Going to bed early is also an option. Sometimes it's good just to get the day over with without slaughtering anyone. Not that I've ever considered that or anything.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

Agreed!

I slipped yesterday on a DD by a few hundred cals due to donuts! I was ravenously hungry, something new for me on this woe. Oh well, continuing my rotation tomorrow. Onward and upward!!
