I finally convinced my DH to do Juddd with me. He's already lost 15lbs on Adkins but at 6ft 3in" I doubt if he even has another 15 lbs more to lose. I really wanted him to Juddd with me because he has a history of high cholesterol and really bad knees. After many yesterday out of the blue he said yes. It was so adorable watching him look up calories. He looked up carrots and I heard " ooooh that's a lot for a carrot, 30 calories!." he put together his little 300 calorie food choices for work today, as it's a 13 hour day today and is saving his progresso chicken soup for tonight. I couldn't believe how in to it he got. It was so so cute..maybe now he will stop teasing me about calling my days by ups or downs. And our 25th anniversary falls on an up day. He just was so adorable leaving for work with his Tupperware of veggies and hbe. I'm just praying he makes it through the first two weeks. He's planning on doing 35% after that. I would love to hear from those of you whose DH are Juddding with you! Any secrets on how to keep them motivated? Thanks for listening. Have a great day whether up or down.

Start Date: Aug 2011/I was maintaining since April 2012
He could probably do just fine with 500 in these first 2 weeks (even Dr. J says to do 500) and most guys actually get to have more than that. But if he doesn't have much to lose, that may be why his DD cals are lower.

I think it's great he's doing it with you.
Tina--wife to my dh for 24 years and mom to 4 great kids. JUDDD reboot to lose the nearly 20 pounds gained in the past 2 years.
