Just got back from Trader Joe's...

They have excellent frozen meals for DD's.

Roasted chicken in poblano sauce w/ sweet corn & barley - 210 cals
Chicken & vegetable wonton soup - 220 cals
Filet of sole w/ butter beans & spinach - 190 cals
Paneer Tikka Masala w/ basmati rice - 330 cals
Palak Paneer - 250 cals
Pizza Primavera - 250 cals

I really need my DD's to be thoughtless so this is going to be very helpful.

I went there today too and stocked up on Shrimp Stir-Fry (70 cals/serving!!!) and Chicken Tikka Masala (300 calories). Also got herbed chevre, gouda, baguettes, the chicken poblano you mentioned, and a couple other things. I sure do Trader Joe's.

The Shrimp Stir-Fry makes a good meal for the whole family if I beef it up with extra veggies and make another side for them. Lots of sodium, but soooo good!

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

The Tikka Masala is great. I eat raw cabbage with it. That type of dinner plus something else around noon and the day is done. Have found that Nissan Big Noodles (190 cals.) have been just as useful.

Ha! I made the Tikka Masala a few days ago at work and it smelled and looked so great, everyone wanted some. I had to guard it with my life (a DD--you know!). I love that stuff.

I just realized I lied. It wasn't a DD. It was just that good that I wasn't willing to part with it.

Oooh, I will have to check out the shrimp stir fry. Yes, adding veggies or a small salad makes the DD's so easy. I do find that some of their frozen meals have a bit of sodium in them and others dont. Either way I TJ's!

Thanks for this info. When I lived out west, I went to Trader Joe's a lot, but there are fewer of them in New England. They opened one recently in Portland, about an hour away, so I might just venture up and do some stocking up!
