coconut oil...stupid question...

I don't like coconut.

I noticed that people have talked about using coconut oil in hot chocolate and many other things, but does it take like coconut?

I DO like pina coladas.

When I was growing up, it was a texture issue but I think I avoided it long enough that now I don't like it at all.

Also---biggest bounce up EVER yesterday (even above starting weight but I'm too upset about it to change stats). I'm trying to chalk it up to TOM. I've read and read for motivation and I'm trying to keep the faith!!

My coco oil doesn't smell or taste like coconut (although I happen to love it so sometimes I wish it did lol)

Someone who knows more about CO will answer that one. I think the way it works is refined CO does not have a taste...or some of the health benefits that coconut tasting unrefined CO has.

BUT TOM can and will cause big bounces. Do not panic. It is water and, when TOM leaves, it will remove itself in the usual way.

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

Nancy answered it. If it's refined, there's no taste or smell, but not as many of the wonderful health benefits.
Unrefined has the most health benefits, and also has flavor and scent.

JUDDD got me where I want to be!

Depends on the brand. Nutiva doesn't have a coconut taste at all to me

I use nutiva and if you make coconut bark with some cocoa and some peanut butter you wont be tasting coconut, just awesome goodness! I make coconut bark with cocoa, protein powder, stevia and a few nuts mixed in and its awesome!
