Mine smelled bad - so didn't risk them! Shops not open tomorrow - so can't take them back either!

I just looked at dailyplate and 3oz (about 6 medium) raw oysters is 57 calories. Was 40 each for a topped/prepared dish?

Canned smoked oysters.... "pencil erasers" that's what my Wif-ee calls them. Just had some yesterday....yummmm.

One of my favorite protein snacks Still trying to find a brand in olive oil though. All these have soy or canola or veggie oil.

Edit: I checked amazon and crown prince brand has olive oil

Had to see this thread-I have been known to eat 2 dozen oysters at a time (and more if I could afford them)-I just eat them plain or with lemon; one of my favorite things in the world!

****** says one Eastern oyster raw=10 cals

I also love smoked oysters, oyster stew (Grand Central Station anyone?) fried...

But the way God made them is the best.
