DD actually got better!
I wrote yesterday about how and why I was having a good DD inspire of having the flu. But it even got a little better, my day not my flu before bed last night , my stomach felt really really empty and I gave myself permission to have an extra one hundred calories if I wanted. But something about that empty feeling, which on a 1200 calorie diet would have driven me to either cheat or be cranky with my DH, actually gave me a feeling of empowerment. after years of feeling trapped and powerless over my own body, this was an unbelievably great feeling. And totally unexpected so soon before my goal. I went to sleep on my empty tummy and without the extra calories. Thanks for letting me share.

And agreed! The "empty feeling" on DD's isn't the same as the "ohgodi'mstarving" on regular calorie restricted diets.
I've gotten hungry on DD's, but not that ravenous "eat everything in sight" hunger.
Well except for the hormonal days lol.

Power over your body, isn't it GREAT!
I think the one thing that helps me when I go to bed hungry is the thought that when I wake up I can eat and eat and eat! I imagine myself eating this HUGE breakfast, funny part is, by the time I wake up I am not that hungry and eat my usual 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

I love that gentle DD hunger!
Kind of like my tummy is whispering, "I hate to be a bother.... but if it wouldn't be too much trouble.... I was just thinking it might be nice if.....Oh! Hot tea! Thank you so much!"
Still at goal 2/6/13
Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).
STILL below goal 11/21/15
I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!
JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.
