So happy I found you guys!!

I just started yesterday and I am so happy because I think this is something I can do! Yesterday was my first dd and it went fine. In the past because of health issues I have had to do raw vegtable juice fasts. I remebered when I did them I was doing low cal but not hungry so I tried this yesterday and it worked. I did 1.5 cups of carrot juice and about 3 cups of coffee with nondairy creamer which was 290 calories for the day. I just wanted to make sure I am doing the right amount of calories on DD and UD...
I am 5'5 and weigh 140, the JUDDD website gives me 336 for DD and 1686 for normal days. Is normal days considered UD? Sorry, I am sure the info is on another thread but I have small kids an dit is not easy to be on the computer
Yall seem like such a nice group so glad I found you!!

Yes, normal = UD.

You sound as if you have is all worked out really well. I don't actually do juicing but I do make a ton of different vegetable soups which I then freeze individually and can quickly use as needed.

You will find such great support here. Lots of wonderful JUDDD BUDDDs.

Embrace a little hunger. It is the sign of healing.

Hunger is not an emergency.

It's not what you eat between Christmas and New Year that makes you fat, it's what you eat between New Year and Christmas.

and it sounds as it you got it well under hand already!! And please remember: Some DDs you may be a bit more hungry than others so it OK to up that day DD to 500 calories, if you need to. Many of us have upped our DD calorie and have done fine.

BUT, it you can work that DD number you have (which it looks like you are doing fine with) then just keep working it, JUDDD BUDDD Girlfriend!!

I played with my numbers, upped my % from 20 to 25 and got 467 (or something close) so I upped my DD to 500, if you find 336 too much lf a challange up it to 500.

Exercise 4x per week.
Drink more water (80+ oz per day)

I think you are going to THRIVE here! Welcome!

This plan is both simple and easy. If you can adhere to your UD calories and your DD calories, the chances are strong that you will become a slim woman while enjoying whatever foods you want to make your diet from.

I'm so glad you've come to join us following the JUDDD plan. You get to choose the foods you want to eat, whether you choose to eat low carb or at any other level, you can include anything or exclude anything you feel like, and you can lose the weight just by doing your calorie cycle as it's laid out for you by the JUDDD calculator. Most are quite successful here. I expect you will be too.

Feel free to ask any questions that you may have. It's really easy, and I look forward to reading about your many successes!

Best wishes, Pat

I occasionally do juice fasts on my down days, am unsure of calorie counts but do the best that I can. Do you have a source for calorie counts that you use and can share? I'd love to know for sure how many calories are in my juices, I find such wide variances from various internet sources.
