Do Supplement Calories Count?

Sorry for so many questions, I just want to make sure I'm doing this right!

Do you count the calories in your vitamins & supplements?

TBH, I don't have my original bottles anymore for some of my supplements, and even so, many didn't have calorie counts on them.

Right now I estimate them at no more than 100 calories, and as such my down days are at around 500 cals (the calculator says I should be at 385).

I put them all in myfitnesspal. most of them are already in there.
I got past the "free" stuff attitude from dieting and count everything for my new style of eating.
Find someone to love today, especially yourself.

I doubt very much that your supplements are 100 calories. Most standard vitamins have only a trace amount. Things like fiber gummies and things like that have some - but it all depends on what you are taking. I add them in to keep track of my nutrients, but I don't subtract them from my total allowable calories. I think others may handle this differently, though.

(Also...thanks for the reminder - I haven't taken my vitamins yet today!!)

If you want something badly enough, you'll find a way. If you don't you'll find an excuse.

I was entering mine, but most of them come up at 0 calories in myfitnesspal, and have no calorie information listed on the bottles, so I stopped. I make a note on my entry of what I take, but just for tracking purposes. I don't take any oil-based or sugary supplements though. If I did, I would count those.

JUDDD got me where I want to be!

Not for me they don't! And neither do cough drops, cough meds, and any other kind of vitamins/supplements/medicines I take for better health! I don't even know what the calories are on this stuff. It's never hurt my weight loss or maintenance at all!

Never counted them. Never even occurred to me that I should. And I take 7-8 fish oil capsules daily. So there's probably some calories there. I just don't. And I'm at goal, and happy with how I look.

I guess I'd say, if you lose well without them counted, don't worry about it. If you have troubles and tweaking numbers doesn't get results, maybe take a look at counting your supps.
