Any UD carb lover JUDDDers find they go into Ketosis on DD?

Was just wondering for those of you that use the sticks and are at least moderate carb on UDs find that you go into Ketosis on DD? I seem to get so much thirstier on DDs... reminds me of ketosis. I have added back carbs on UDs for now to see how I do, usually 75 - 150 on UDs.

WOE: Back to JUDDD 1/5/15
There was a thread a while back about this and so I pulled out my old strips and tested on a DD. I had light pink! I don't watch my carbs at all anymore, so I was sure I wouldn't register on the strips, but I did. Since this WOE promotes fat burning, it is ketogenic.

JUDDD got me where I want to be!

It sort of depends on what carb level you eat at on JUDDD. It's possible that you won't have left ketosis from being on Atkins previously, for example. So you may just continue the state as you cycle your low carb calories. You may come here in ketosis, and continue to eat so low carb that you remain in ketosis.

Or you may be eating at a level that is *on the cusp* of ketosis, and your alternating may tip you over and back, over and back.

Or you may be eating high enough up into the carb counts that even at the end of your Down Days, you haven't depleted your *carb fuel* reserves, and you never get into any ketosis at all. Remember, when most folks start a low carb diet from their Standard American Diet of high carbs previously, it takes several days for them to get into ketosis.

So basically, it will depend on your diet, as such, rather than your cycle of calories as a number.

Hopefully Nancy will see this and pop in... she has some good info on how LC and JUDDD are both ketogenic.

I never used test strips on LC but knew I was in ketosis from how I felt and the appetite reduction. I have the same feelings on JUDDD, but even better.. I don't know if it's ketosis, but if it's not, I prefer whatever this is, to be honest.
Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!
