Start Date: Started Juddd 2/1/12

This may sound silly to some but it is HUGE for me!!!

Last night we were celebrating my 8 year old's birthday yet again. My dad's wife had surprised him with a small beautiful red velvet cake. Well, my boys want nothing to do with a red velvet cake and my brother is vegan so he won't eat it. I felt so bad that no one was eating the cake so I served myself a very small sliver. I do low carb with Juddd so this was not on plan at all. I managed to just eat the top layer of cream cheese frosting and was able to tell her how wonderful it was. I think I ended up eating less than a tbsp. of frosting. In the past I would have thought that I blew it and eaten everything in sight for a couple of days and gained 10 lbs. This time I just said oh well, I may be over my carbs today but I am still under my calories for Juddd.

This morning I did not gain any weight!!! I can't believe I kept myself from eating the whole cake!!! Loving Juddd!!!!

Don't you love the lack of guilt? I am so glad you had a little taste of that wonderful cake.

I hope that eventually, you will feel comfortable with venturing into enjoying the more "natural" carbs- like oats, fruits, etc. Maybe even a little slice of cake, too...

Glad you are experiencing the good things this woe has to offer!

When everything feels like an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top....

Goal Weight achieved 02/25/2012 on JUDDD- and still losing!

This IS wonderful and you know, some day you may decide to eat that whole piece of cake and I will almost bet that you won't see a gain then either!

It's just the "magic" of JUDDD!!
A man asked Gautama Buddha, "I want happiness." Buddha said, "First remove "I," that's Ego, then remove "want," that's Desire. See now you are left with only "Happiness.”

Beeb is right!!!

I had my first devil's food cupcake yesterday.
The whole cake icing and all, 444 cals and 20 carbs and no gain. Not even an ounce!!!
GUESS WHAT?!?!? I am going to do it again this Sat and will let you know what happens.

I so know what you mean. In past dieting just taking that one bite could put me into a tailspin for the day (and sometimes the next and next). Not so with JUDDD. So glad you got to enjoy that little bit and look forward to future post when you let yourself have the whole slice.
