WOE: Low Carb/Atkins/JUDD
Start Date: Atkins 2004/JUDDD Feb 2012
Hello

I just wanted to say hello I am Lola. I have been lurking for a couple of weeks and have been doing JUDDD for 5 weeks the decision made after Kissa had done so well on the plan. Thank you to Kissa because I think she is educating the whole of the UK about JUDDD - I.d never heard of it before.

I.ve been on Atkins/low carb for 8 years and like many people on here just seemed to get stuck and stall. Also missed fruit and oats so this is lovely on the UD's. I currently weigh 10st 5lbs and ideally would like to get below 10st. I was 10st 9.5 lbs when I started 5 weeks ago so have lost 4.5 lbs so far. Slow but hopefully will stay off. I have been on diets for most of my life and to be honest have probably totally messed up my metabolism so always find it quite hard to lose the last few pounds.

Originally after reading threads I was on 1500 on UD.s and 500 on DD.s but didn't lose for the last couple of weeks. Didn't realise about the JUDDD calculator (DOH!) so this week have upped to 2040 so hopefully might see another 1lb or 2lbs come off this week.

Anyway nice to read all your threads and successes. Have a lovely day.

So happy to hear that you decided to give it a try.. and yes once you start eating it does move along a bit faster.. the key to making it work is the spread between the two days, so yippeee for you to have a loss so far when ya didnt know you could eat more... how exciting,, we get to eat more and still lose!! who would have thought..

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Hi there, Lola!
Welcome to the JUDDD threads. These are the friendliest, most helpful people you'll ever meet
I'm another Kissa/UK (ex-UK I'm my case) convert, and know you'll find the same success that I have. Feel free to ask lots of questions

Andy you all make me smile!

So glad you have made an appearance here Lola.

Lola is a superfit, super person and you will all enjoy getting to know her I know.

You will soon say goodbye to 10st 5lbs Lola (or indeed 145lbs as most folks here would say).
