Walden Farms Honey Dijon

Walden Farms is so hit or miss...

I haven't opened it yet but I'm thinking of putting on my chicken before I cook it or maybe as an actual salad dressing.

Have you had it?

Love it or Hate it?

I'd be interested in what others think too. I generally love the Walden products, but I haven't tried this one yet. Honey dijon chicken is one of my fav dishes and if it's good I definitely will be ordering so I can make some.

I like it pretty well. By itself its soso. If you add a little regular mustard and some stevia or splenda its better. I have added spicy mustard to it and that was good or some fat free Mayo. Its like most of the products, a little chemically tasting so I always mix it with other things. The best one is the syrup. The strip is awesome!

Couldn't you just mix these ingreds, and skip paying for the WF products??

I agree. I love the dijonnaise and a little splenda. to make faux honey mustard.

I love the honey BBQ Sauce though.

I hate hate hate the ketchup. Tastes like tomato past. I still plan to use it. I don't understand people that toss things in the trash willy nilly. I add a drop of splenda, garlic powder, paprika, and liquid smoke and saute my mushrooms in it. Add egg whites and yay yummy southwestern style omelet.

When I first started JUDDD I used the WF honey Dijon dressing on lots of things. It helped me so much on DDs. I put it on wraps, FF hot dogs on toasted split bread...anyplace that I would've used mayo. It served it's purpose at the time. But now, I usually don't eat lunch on DDs and my dinner is usually cheesy chicken & bacon cabbage stir fry. So I haven't used it in a long time. I won't buy more, but like I said, it definitely helped me get into the DD groove when I started.

I used it on the chicken to cook it and then a little on the salad as well. Dh & younger son ate some of the chicken and everyone liked it!

Is it great? No but it is not bad at all.

It just gives you a little bulk. Makes more of anything without the calories.

well just using mustard and stevia wont give you the body the WF products have. that is what i like. the body and mouth feel. even if i doctor them with spices.

the only honey anything i tried from WF was honey BBQ and i really didnt like it the honey flavor was too fake. i prefer the hot and spicy.

disliked moist of the salad dressings.

other things i like a lot includes alfredo sauce, garlic sauce (used to be scampi) and i liked it better with lemon but i can add that, caramel sauce on full fat yogurt, chipolte mayo and chipolte salad dressing.

then there is the green valley farm cal free line. also from netrition. i like the red thai curry sauce.

I like to mix mustard, dijonnaise and torani orange syrup for a fish, chicken or pork condiment
