i don't have the book yet but want to. That will be next winters reading.
I get now the importance of the upday calorie intake.
I'm finding I can't eat my normal healthy foods on UD.
I get to cheat!
I'm finding I have to change my food keeping.
but I'm afraid I can't keep My old time favorite Payday candy bars in the house.
I'm afraid one will send me into needing another. Must be brave someday and buy ONE. Don't crave those like I did when I was younger. but then I'd eat them and not again and not have a thought about the calories. as an adult Ive been able to eat anything and not gain...Those were the days my friend, Lala.
I also have to correct something, I had misspoken. And I'm sorry for wrong info.
My husband corrected me the other day about water and it nutrients.
And since he is a sciencest he should know. Eye rolling here.
Our water here at home has no minerals in it. . Due to we have a water softener, that takes out the iron, calcium, etc. Our water is just liquid.
We have rouel water supply, and they add bleach to our supply. Which is gross to smell and that smell still comes through faucets at times. Which can't be healthy, but ecoli isn't either. So so evil vs evil I guess. Any way.
For me after drinking a large glass of water I just plain feel better. ITS just liquid. ok my consciouse is clear now. Smile

My neighborhood is on a shared well. Sometimes the bleach is a bit strong. But usually, as you say, the water is healthy and refreshing.
I remember payday candy bars! I have not had that in years. But I remember the sweet and the salt together. Yes, I think that is another food I will have for a treat, but not have in the house.
Still at goal 2/6/13
Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).
STILL below goal 11/21/15
I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!
JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Good thoughts Elio I have learned that, yes, there are some things I can only buy one of because I can't have a lot in the house due to my lack of portion control!
If I go to the store on an UD and I want potato chips, I buy the small one or 2 serving bag. That's it. Any more than that and I'm in big trouble.
