Starting Out Today!!

Done JUDDD before but am back. Trying to not give myself the option of quitting. I tend to start things and fizzle out. I've never learned the art of dealing with a bump in the road and getting back on track.

Since summer I've put on about 50 pounds and am beside myself. Nothing fits and I feel terrible. Last night was good motivation for today. Tried on several pairs of capris in my closet and everything was too tight.

I feel kind of funny about starting JUDDD with an UD but doing it this way works for some things I have coming up over the next two weeks.

So just wanted to say howdy and I'm ready. Saw this quote on the Weight Watchers Facebook page and it really spoke to me.

“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. This is the day your life really begins.”
-Bob Moawad

Welcome back to JUDDD. I am sure you will be feeling on top of the world soon. I started with an UD and I always recommend that to people starting. The concept is from my previous HCG days, I think, where we loaded up before dropping the calories. I love the quote Laura.

Keep us posted.

Welcome back!

I started JUDDD once about a year ago and only stayed in for a couple of weeks. I remember thinking it was going to require more time than I really could give, but now I am finally in the swing of making it work.

Happy JUDDDing!

Welcome back!

I take those bumps in the road - ride them up and down, and then carry on...

There are also days when I think 'ugh' can I really do this another day - but you know what - I can, it's not that difficult!

I'm sure you'll do well!!

WOE: JUDDD/PHD, LC now that my BG is getting weird
Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)

I think there is something psychologically positive about starting on an UD. It says, "Feast tomorrow is not just a theory, it is real."

YOU have done two things oh-so right:
You planned.
You began.

Welcome back.

GOAL 10/3/12
Still at goal 2/6/13
Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).
STILL below goal 11/21/15

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Thank you so much for all the wise words.

Definitely feel better about starting on an UD because I know tomorrow comes the DD!

Am just ready to start making some changes and get those darn clothes in the closet to fit again!

I know just how you feel about the "clothes in the closet!". I had gained 20 pounds since last June when I finally came over to the "dark side" the middle of February of this year. (Only been doing JUDDD about 6 weeks.) I have lost 13 pounds, and already can fit into some of those clothes!I I didn't measure when I started out but I think the inches have come off more than the pounds, cause some of the jeans I can wear now would not even meet at the waist when I first started. They are still a little tight when I first put them on, but they do button and zip. VICTORY! in the making!

Give JUDDD a chance, and it will work it's magic on you, too!
