WOE: JDDD,low carb due to allergies

Hello, new to JUDDD

Hi, I'm new at the JUDDD diet today is my first down day. I find eating kind of hard due to restrictions related to allergies (corn,flax,shellfish/fish). This combined with binge eating at night has allowed me to become quite plump ( BMI of 40!). I am currently enrolled in a nursing program and I don't want to be this large when I start working in a year or so. Hopefully this boosts things a bit for me(and extra exercising). Today went great but I am unable to drink the protein drinks as the diet suggests. Lest see what tomorrow brings

Hi, Mommywithplenty!! Welcome aboard! You absolutely do NOT need to do the shakes. Many of us just always did regular food, some did the shakes.
I think if you follow your calorie numbers pretty closely, and stay here for lots and lots of helpful, kind support, you will do great!
I love this WOE and couldn't reccommend it more highly!

So glad you decided to join our JUDDD BUDDD family!

I never did the shakes in my first two weeks. I do use them now but only after my workouts.

Welcome to JUDDD. Hope you come to love it as much as I do.
I will trade you my allergies for yours since I never eat what you are allergic to so it would not bother me to give them up. I am only allergic to 6 foods - wheat, mushrooms, carrots, beets, turnips and squash. Try avoiding those little gems. (sad face)
Anyway it is doable with any types of foods so jump in and join us.
I am not a night eater but my DH is so I can understand your problem.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!
