UD

B - ham, egg, & cheese on 1/2 sprouted grain bagel

L - homemade mexican: chicken fajita, rice, chips & salsa

D - corned beef, green beans, potatoes, roll

I rarely eat 3 full meals. At least one is usually a smoothie or just fruit, etc. But I've added it all up and I'm still a bit under as long as I stick to my portion sizes (very do-able) so if we have some sort of dessert with dinner I may have a little. That or a glass of wine and dark chocolate.

Taking our first official FD since starting JUDDD in January -- we're celebrating our anniversary with a dinner at a nice restaurant and a gift card we MUST use all of 'cuz we won't go back again (100 miles north of here)! So, I'm envisioning an appetizer, nice entree, dessert, wine... yeah, the whole shebang!! So instead of stressing, I'm embracing it and will pick up JUDDD on the way home Monday!

So far-

I made a sandwich of an egg between very lightly buttered toasted bagel halves. Coffee.

400 cals (392 before rounding up)

Still feeling stuffy- have to remember this is an UD, and try to eat accordingly.

I should change my days. It seems like I'm on opposite from most of you.

DD - 2 cups of tea with splenda (hot)
Theraflu for diabetics (tastes AWFUL)
chocolate protein shake 110 calories.

I have the opposite of mouth hungry. Because I'm sick, nothing is appealing, but I'm hungry.

Keira requested bagels for breakfast, so we're heading to Uncle Harry's Bagels. I plan on an "everything" with cream cheese (around 375 calories) unless we get there and they have some special St. Patrick's Day bagel or pastry.

Lunch/Dinner still up in the air. I'm craving some mango habanero wings though, so I may try to convince DH that he wants Buffalo Wild Wings. Not too terribly Irish, I know, but whatchagonnado? I imagine there will be some green beer in my near future.

I sure do love me some JUDDD!

OMG, food everywhere, and also lots of cake (there was a birthday cake made for every month of the year!!) I enjoyed the food and then had a couple pieces of cake, and I am so full that I'm not eating anything else today, just drink lots of water - having a strict DD day tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it!!!

I am guessing I came in right around or pretty close. Not sure what the calories were at the chinese buffet.

I also jogged 15 mins today. Prob about 3/4 of a mile. I jogged my drive way a few times. I was just guessing as to how long it took me to jog an actual mile the other day!

Oh my-o!

About 2 p.m. I could feel my BG dropping... I think my lunch was too little food... so I had one cup whole milk plain yogurt with cut-up strawberries & blueberries, then followed that with protein shake made with whole milk... lactose intolerance!

I can no longer deny I have it... started noticing it last summer when I went vLC and was eating extra dairy including smoothies made from cow milk or goat milk, eating more cheese, etc (something has to fill the carb gap!) and having terrible GI issues.

Happened after the dairy-fest this afternoon ... nausea, chills, TMI issues.

I don't notice anything if I have some dairy with other foods or a small amount of dairy by itself. It's when I have a lot of dairy at once by itself or with a scant amount of other food.

I picked up some lactaid-type tablets to try. Plus I bought more almond milk and coconut milk to try.

I think some of the peeps around here eat something called a Suzie cake which is similar.
