Someone please " ok" my dd menu

Ok my first day/ first time trying this I'm a little nervous and hoping someone can tell me I'm doing this right. I've been a strict low carber so I'm keeping it pretty LC today. I'm 5'6 f 116 lbs trying to loose 5 more.
B-- coffee w a splash of almond milk (10 cals)
During the day -- water w mio flavoring
Lunch- tofu shiratake w salt n onions ( 40 cals)
Snack green salad w chicken breast (130 cals)
Dinner- shiratake tofu w spinach and chicken breast 100+ 40 + 10= 150
sugar free jello = 80
1 glass almond milk - 35 cals
Total - 445
The website says I should aim for 365 but si ce it's my first day I want to give myself a little wiggle room. I am ok with these foods bc I eat them everyday anyways

Thats the beauty of this plan.. what ever you choose to eat or drink is just fine.. .. looks fine to me. and goin over a few cals will not hurt from the start. in time you will adjust to a lower number and feel just fine eating the smaller amt they say.. good luck , look like your off to great start!

Sounds good but warning: if you don't normally eat shirataki noodles, 2 servings in one day may cause tummy issues.

Oh and I'm adding two egg whites for a total of about 500 cals... I also plan on allowing myself a few sticks of sf gum throughout the day . I'm excited/ nervous . I might be posting on this tread spastically throughout the day to keep myself occupied and accountable I'm going to give this one week try bc I know I can do it just one day at a time

And yes I eat shiratake allllllll the time lol. It's one of my LC staple foods

That looks like a good plan.

Actually, I encourage you to designate another couple of hundred calories of food. Some of us slide into DD with no hunger. And some of us (like me) find it was a good thing we had extra on hand for those first few DDs.

Because you will be eating fewer calories than normal, the sirtuin enzymes will begin flowing. For many/most of us that means within a few DDs our appetites begin to go away or become less insistent.

Many of us are losing while eating 500 calories/DD even though the website says we should go lower. With appetite suppression, I range between 200 and 500 (I really enjoy eating to almost non-existent hunger).

So, try to work your plan. But have an escape route just in case you need it.

Those last few pounds should be gone in no time!

I may be the dissenting voice here. I think your menu looks fine, but you are alredy at a healthy BMI and at 110, could fall below a healthy range at 5'6". You know your body best, so I'm not going to try to talk you out of losing any more, BUT . . . you might want to start just shy of maintenance range calories, so you don't end up too far UNDER 110. We've seen it time and again with our maintainers . . . JUDDD keeps letting you lose weight, even when you don't want to lose anymore unless you up your calories.

If you're doing JUDDD for the SIRT1 benefits, then perhaps 2 weeks max at 500 calorie DD, then move into maintenance range, even if you're a pound or two shy of maintenance.

Of course I could be totally wrong too. I'm only 3 months in.

So far so good. It's 7 pm and I'm doing well actually I haven't really been too hungry until about 6. I started to feel dizzy so iate my egg whites and lettuce . I just had half my shiratake and I will probably save the rest of my food for when I get home / off work bc I'm a total night eater and I don't want to go over my calorie limit so yea it's been a decent day I'm staying very hydrated and bought some sf gum which I'm super excited for bc I haven't really. Had any since starting LC again

I was thinking this, too. I'm 5'5" and weighed 117 during an emotional time after a divorce. I enjoyed being at that weight, but now I think it was too low.
