Non-food DD treats

I've only done 2 DDs so far, but I have found a few non-food treats that help me enjoy them more, and thought it would be fun for everyone to share...

Here's mine...
Nice long bubble bath
Giving myself a facial
Sauna/Steam room
Drinking lots of nice fruit teas - and yogi choco spice tea
Going to yoga/body balance instead of a tough workout
Walking to and from work listening to my ipod
Watching a film in bed with my boyfriend
Watching desperate housewives on the sofa with a duvet!
Reading the newspaper and doing the puzzles

Anybody else?

YUP, it's NOT all about food, is it!!

I love not thinking about food on my DDs! It gives me more time to shop, do my gardening, tinker around the house and re-arrange closets!!

On LC I spent most of my "down time" baking, preparing and trying to figure out LC subs for the things I was missing so much!!

NOT anymore!!

I've started doing errands and shopping late morning when I would have been thinking about and fixing lunch. I don't even get hungry till maybe mid-afternoon or so.

Love to be busy on DDs!

Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
Fortunately, I am currently painting several rooms. And I am a slow, focused painter. This is great on DD and was almost a disaster last UD (eat? uh, did I eat today? oh, -----!)

Enjoying one now - eating an enormous salad of leafy greens in the sun (!! It doesn't come out much here in the uk ) with a cup of oolong tea, after getting home from work and changing into my comfy clothes. I think Dds are turning me into a bit of a hippy as I'm definately noticing the brads singing more than usual

...shopping without rushing
...take my measurements and try on skinny clothes
...go to bed early

Yes I so enjoy not trying to make something that's low carb, its a very nice miss.
Yam, i also im working on the not rush feeling. I promised myself I was going to stop feeling/being rushed. I hear u.i haven't been reading very much here latly.
I've been making a garden. Hauling compost, dirt, on and off the tractor. One would think riding around on a tractor would be like, easy, not work! It is work. My first big garden, thanks to the tractor, smile. It's a 33 feet circle shape garden. And other small beds.

eieio - I envy you your garden. This is spring break and it poured rain Monday and Tuesday and everything is mud so we can't plow a garden. I am so disappointed. Since DH is a track coach, this would have been the only time he could disc it up for me. And I have never driven his tractor that he got after he destroyed mine so I can't do it myself even if it was dry. Enjoy your garden.
