Safe to do DDs while skiing?

I am going skiing next weekend for 4 days, will probably be doing 6-8 hrs a day, and this will apparently burn about 300 cals per hour.

Do you think it will be safe to do DDs or will I need a higher intake to keep myself from keeling over? I feel great on normal DDs with an hour of exercise.

Thanks, Hannah

I would have a bit higher calorie day if it were me. Nothing crazy. I would allow for some complex carbohydrates to fuel your muscles, maybe a banana or some oatmeal or brown rice.
These are all around 150 calories, and nothing that is going to wreck your progress.

Just check how you feel every hour or so. You'll know if you need more. And it goes without saying, stay plenty hydrated.

Have a wonderful time skiing!! The only skiing we're doing around here is water skiing!

When everything feels like an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top....

AnnieS went skiing recently and didn't do her rotations. Don't think she gained...

I would eat a little more myself. Especially up the mountain for lunch.

Be sensible and put your health first.

Embrace a little hunger. It is the sign of healing.

Hunger is not an emergency.

It's not what you eat between Christmas and New Year that makes you fat, it's what you eat between New Year and Christmas.
