Made my home made HolyCrap cereal recipe this am

Thanks NIkkie for the tip on the cereal.
I plan to buy it in the future. $40 for 3 small bags. yikes.
I'm always looking for ingredients to put together for my potions. DH calls all my food potions. "Twigs, nuts and berries." Yummmm
So I'm on a mission today, headed to the health food store for hemp hearts, and buckwheat. I used steel cut oats on my first try today. Very tasty.
Hope my energy is over the top, or just medium energy I'd be happy---smile

I thought it was high $$ too, but the serving size is just 2T so each bag is like 2-3 boxes of commercial cereal lol.

I thought that way too, but now I think there's only like one cup of cereal per bag.

Pami, Dottie, NikkieY. yes thy r very out of their cereal.

Shopping in town today my near by Joplin Missouri. I did find Holy Hemp pure protein. Not the hearts. Don't know he big differents between the two. Any way.
On the label of Holy Hemp protein says it can raise the died! .... Teasing.
I love the high in protein info. Package is 12.6 oz. Actually a lots, looks like a quart.
3 tablespoon/12 P. calories 90, total carbs 8,
Fiber 6, (iron 25% which interest me.)
The taste? Kinda no taste, which is good.
Cost $18 us dollars.
Anyway that's my duty today.

Hi everyone!
yup it can be $ but on DD I use 1/2 serving 1T is 65 cals and mix with greek yogurt...so a bag lasts me a long time. Also it keeps me full for hours so I save $$ not snacking.
I found a knockoff at a different health food store for 7.50 called chia goodness exact same ingredients. Figured an imitator would show up as holy crap was on the dragon's den show but if you can find it easier for less $$ go for it!

Reading this with interest. I don't have that kind of $$$ in my grocery budget, so I stick with oatmeal here.

But I certainly have heard of a lot of interesting food out there in the big world.

OT- I love it when people say "yup". We were working on a group presentation,
for my management class, that is due Monday. One of the team wanted to remind
us not to forget about, and be prepared for, the question & answer period at the
end. I said I was ready because the answer to any questions directed toward me
would be "yup!".
