DD today and trying to see if I can eat before dinner on a DD without triggering my appetite because I won't be able to get home and eat until much later tonight and I don't want to wait until 8-9pm for my first meal.

B: coffee
L: mock hot cocoa (one scoop of cocoa whey protein + water), bit of grilled chicken breast
D: 4 slices bacon, sauteed kelp noodles, LC cheese wedge, small splash of marinara

Approximately 430 calories, so a bit of room for a little something before bed in case it doesn't go well.

Thanks Cindy! DH says she's doing fine right now. Most likely she had too much junk food at her grandma's yesterday.

Lunch plans changed, we ordered in, so I'll be having chile verde. I may or may not have the rice and beans that come with it.

Yes, so funny. We speak the same language, but not!!! Love that term, a potato baked in its 'jacket'. Very picturesque use of the language.

Well the 'drinks at our neighbour's turned out to be lovely champagne, wonderful scallops, fresh shrimp and teriyaki beef bits.

Don't need another mouthful but having prepared tonight's dinner I am forcing DH to eat a lot of it, and I will eat a 1/4 of it....

Nice place to be.

That is interesting! I didn't know that they made anything from bats....

Eating bats immediately brought to mind a movie image, but I can't place which one. I feel like it's right on the tip of my tongue. Comedy.... Probably from the 80's or 90's. It's killing me!

Well, I was actually comfortable after dinner since I got home earlier than planned and was about to call the day at 430 cals, but then champagne suddenly came into the picture, so looks like I may be a bit over by around 550.
