First DD

Ready for my first of many DD. I am taking 3 hardboiled eggs with me to work, I also have a yogurt too. Plan to cook some fish for dinner with some green beans.
Now I need to find a site that will help me count the calories. Someone told me of a web site called Lose it. Going to go check it out.

My days at work are not busy so I eat out of pure boredom. And it does not help that we have a fully stocked kitchen of nothing but JUNK food. The only upside to this is that I work on the second floor and all the food is on the first floor so as long as I don't go down stairs I'm good!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

welcome Jeanne-you'll do great! When you think about the stocked kitchen just remember you can enjoy it tomorrow if you want! I use lose it and it works fine for me. But I've never used anything else to track calories!

We have a nice group of JUDDD BUDDDs over at ************ so I second that vote. Have a good down day. I'm having one today too and I have to bring in lunch for everyone else for a class. Amazingly, I don't usually have a problem with it, except for when my car still smells like lasagna or whatever I picked up hours later.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

Good luck on your first DD. I use ****** too. Although the 'friends' option on ************ sounds fun. I don't have a cool phone, so the bar code scanner option doesn't mean much to me.

so far so good

I have been lucky today, it been busy here at work, which helps. Ate my yoguart and 2 eggs so far and it's 1:30. Need to try and get more water in though, still on my first bottle.
Looking forward to my fish tonight.

Jeanne: You are doing great so far! Making it to 1:30 is half the battle. Yes, drink up on the water. I find that hot green tea really kills my appetite. I like it iced, too. If you have a Starbucks nearby, they make wonderful freshly brewed iced green tea. You have a great plan with the eggs and then fish for dinner. You are gonna love your scale tomorrow morning! kutgw!

Made it through the first DD

Oh boy my scale read down 1.5 pounds!!!! I haven' been able to drop an ounce in a long time. Now today is an UP day and I plan to keep it as clean as I can. The counter put me at 1800 on my up day. We go out to eat on Fridays so I will have to check the calorie count of what I plan to eat tonight first and then work from there. Don't want to go over on my first Up day.

Yep, those Friday night meals take some planning. Don't, do not, panic if Saturday morning that 1.5 has vanished. It will vanish again. You are on your way. And the scale, she bounces fer shure!
