This really is magic!
Check it out!
I managed to whip up a batch of the cabbage, LC cheese and chicken for tomorrow's DD and plan out the rest of the day. Look at how it all tallies up: Breakfast: boiled egg (70 cal), container of pineapple topped with 1/3 c coconut milk (120 cal) Lunch: half the cabbage stuff (145 cal) Supper: the other half of cabbage stuff (145 cal) Dessert/snack: SF Jello topped with whipped cream (20 cal) All I did was try and come up with stuff that sounded good and it came to exactly 500 calories! ![]() Oh, and for anyone that hasn't yet made the cabbage stuff, I highly recommend you do so - and then send it all to me! That stuff is slurpalicious! I'm actually looking forward to my 500 calorie day! |

I love your enthusiasm, Paula. I'm going to concentrate on making some DD dishes that have more bulk to them. Not the cabbage thingie for now, but I used to love to make chinese egg foo young and I think I will try it with egg whites. Mung bean sprouts are only 31 calories a cup. All it takes are those with the eggs and some onions. I'm going to enjoy that! I also have some fresh spinach for a jumbo salad. DD, I'm ready for you.

I am trying the cabbage today fried up with 3 oz of ground lean turkey, sliced radishes, celery, and a couple tbs of homemade tomatillo salse verde. I find that I do like dd much better than ud!
