Having a bad day

I'm having a very stressful week, actually starting last week. It's mostly financial but also emotional. I'm not doing well today and I am up over my DD today. I'm sure I'm at about 700 now, but that's including dinner. The stress is doing me in. I haven't had anything terrible to eat, I never eat anything that's bad for you. I eat super clean, even when stressed. But, I am nibbling and I feel a little out of control. Since I am now over my DD calories, Is the week ruined? Do I try to adjust the UD tomorrow down slightly? Thanks for any support .

Of course not, if you stop eating now you haven't done badly at all. 700 is over your 'normal' DD calls but you can handle that once in a while

I wouldn't drop the calories tomorrow, you want to have the up/down calls as big a difference as possible. Stick with it, we are here for you.

Any reason that Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday have to be UDs?
If not, I'd just call today a MD and do a DD do-over tomorrow.
Or you could call today a MD and do your UD tomorrow as if
today had actually been a DD. JUDDD is very forgiving. Your
week is never ruined- not by one bad eating day

*Oops, I read that wrong- I thought you said you were at 700
calories already and that was NOT including dinner...

Yeah, this isn't too hateful for a DD

I'm no veteran but I would do as suggested. Keep to your dinner plan making 700 cals. and still have an UD tomorrow.

UD tomorrow - 700 is not a *bad* down day - it is still in WLM for most people. I've occasionally hit it for 'enjoyment' reasons - not because life is on top of me. I think to stick to 700 is good!!! Well done. Enjoy your UD tomorrow and I hope things get easier for you soon!

Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
UD tomorrow. The week is not ruined. The next few days are not even ruined. You on JUDDD are alright.

I hope the stress eases soon.

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Another voice saying today is still a good DD at 700 and tomorrow will be an UD!

Sorry for your stress this week, CD. Hope things look up asap.
Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

Thanks everyone. I feel a little better with your support. I can't stop nibbling, though, so I might be higher now than 700 because I already have dinner planned in the fridge (chicken with cabbage) and I don't want to skip it. I think I need to eat it to avoid any eating trouble in the nighttime. I never eat after 7pm so I don't want to mess that up, too. I will do an UD tomorrow and do a stricter DD the following. Keep on keeping on .

As the crowd all rightly says, Juddd is forgiving, so just treat tomorrow right on schedule and keep going. Everyone has rough days and no one deserves to get beat up for it. You would be kind to a friend who had a bad time and encourage her to get past it with grace for herself. Tomorrows are always fresh and new

Thanks so much everyone. I'm still really down but I'm not eating so I kept to my rule of not eating after 7pm. For that and the support on here, I am grateful. Tomorrow is a new day.

ETA: I'm in agreement with everyone else, 700 is not the end of the world by any stretch. You did good, and you'll keep going.
