How many DD's in a week??

Hey everyone!
Day 1 for me and I have spent the last few days pouring over this forum and Dr. Johnson's site, but I haven't found the answer I am looking for (or I have overlooked it!)
In a 7 day week, what is the breakdown of DD's and UD's?

3 down days and 4 up days?

Thanks in advance for any clarification!

Alternate weeks it changes.

Some weeks you will have 3 DD and 4 UD and other weeks you will 4 DD and 3 UD

The alternation just keeps rolling along:

Wk 1
Sun UD
Mon DD
Tue UD
Wed DD
Thu UD
Fri DD
Sat UD

Wk2
Sun DD
Mon UD
Tue DD
Wed UD
Thu DD
Fri UD
Sat DD

Some people tweak the plan so that they have MWF as DD and TTSS as UD - or one of the days at the weekend as MD - but I wouldn't recommend it to start with.

WOE: JUDDD/PHD, LC now that my BG is getting weird
Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
As Vicky says, if it is humanly possible keep the rotation in place during induction. This pattern maximizes the release of sirtuin enzymes in your body which, in turn, maximizes weight loss.

After induction, if you can keep the rotation going, that is best (same reason).

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

If only the Romans had known what they were doing to us JUDDD's when they set a week for an odd number of days!



Haven't decided whether I like the MWFS DD's or the TTS DD's. All I know is, when I get done with an UD, I'm ready for a good DD! I have only used an MD once (in six weeks) and don't plan to do it again unless I just have to. MD's are much harder than either UD's or DD's and they "feel" like you are just marking time (which is pretty much what you are doing.)

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!
