I love JUDDD

For some reason (not sure why) I weighed in on Wednesday at 124, a all time high for maintaining and a number that high I have not seen in a long time.

It was a UD that day so I decided not to freek and just "watch" since I really do not count on UD since I am maintaining.

I did not weigh in Thurs since it was after an UD and I was really afraid to see the scale # be higher then my last 124

So I had a FD Thur, DD yesterday and this morning I am at 120.4

Still at goal 2/6/13
Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).
STILL below goal 11/21/15

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

I think one of the things we need to do is encourage folks to either have a much larger maintenance range to bounce around in, where they still can feel comfortable.. or at least let them understand that they may have bounces that take them several pounds above their chosen number before dropping them back down again.

I might be wrong about this, but it seems like the more the diet is quite the same over time, the less the bounces seem to be, but the more varied the diet choices, the more real big bounces someone may experience. But that's just a thought....

I think you've done a remarkable job in staying real close to the numbers you were envisioning for your maintenance. You're doing a great job, aren't you!
Best wishes, Pat

I love it too! Those kinds of things happen to me. I go up more than I like, but always come right back down. Congrats on that weight!

Congrats on not freaking! I weigh every day and that's one of the things I had to learn before starting JUDDD, I used to be very upset if I couldn't explain a gain. I'm still not settled on a final goal weight yet, it will be a range when I do find one!

Yes, I've had the same kind of thing happen frequently, and because it happens a lot, I feel certain that on JUDDD for me, no matter the reason behind those strange 2-3 lb sudden gains in a day, they always go away just as suddenly for no apparent reason either a day or a few days later. I've also hit new lows a few times after those strange gains before too. Either way, I don't let it bother me because those up and down fluctuations are normal and certainly better than a steady upward climb! I love JUDDD too!

Good for you!! I JUDDD too.

I keep a maint. range of 135 - 140 so I have plenty of bouncing room. lol. Usually on maint. my bounces are 1 to 3#. If for some reason I don't sleep well, get dehydrated, get sick, etc., I can go up 4 or 5#, so I am prepared for that too.
Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

That's great that you didn't freak out and saw the weight corrected without any extra effort.

I've decided on a maint. range of 125-130 for this reason.

Got to love JUDDD, the scale, she bounces! And yet we maintain.
