Stats: start 225/ now 132.2/ goal 125 ??? Height 5'3"
WOE: JUDDD and HCG (not at the same time)
my JUDDD íntervention

'So...I put on a few pounds over Christmas Vacation and weighed in at 142...I put on 13 pounds from my lowest in November of 129.8.
I went back on JUDDD after holiday debauchery. I was really, really bad and truly deserved every ounce.
A week into January someone I work with went on homeopathic HCG and gave me a bottle, she got 2 for 1 some internet special and I did some research and thought, why not? I can do ANYTHING for 21 Days (which is the minimum round) so I looked at the meal plan and got started.
Well...I CAN"T do anything for 21 days LOL!
The weight was coming off, but super super slow...like one pound, nothing for three days, then one pound...pattern it out.
But here's the kicker, I got more and more lethargic, my mostly dormant depression kicked in, and I was sleeping. ALOT.
Now this is not a criticism of HCG many, many people do well and love it but the reason I want to post this here is because of what happened Monday night. I made dinner, ate, put the kids to bed and went to bed myself. At 8 PM. Which I had been doing for a while. DH came home from a late shift and found me lying in bed and I was so out of it I couldn't even carry on a conversation. I got up to go to the washroom and almost blacked out.
So, FF two minutes later and DH shoves a peice of whole wheat toast slathered in peanut butter and banana in my hand, orders me to eat it and then in an imperious tone tells me I need to go back on that other plan, you know, the one where I eat normally every other day because I was very happy while on that plan, had tons of energy, and could eat my favourite foods.
After about 20 minutes I felt much better and honestly I am a little scared at how bad I felt so I can honestly say hcg is not for me and I am coming home to JUDDD where I belong...yesterday was an UD and I feel great. Today I weigh 132.2 so I'm gonna aim (and be patient) for 125. No short cuts. Just healthy food and JUDDD!
Gotta love DH
I was 225
I am 132.2
I wanna be 125??

I love your DH! What a great guy he must be.

Yeah, after finding JUDDD, I don't know why we'd go looking for anything else. JUDDD doesn't sell itself as a weight loss speedster. It doesn't pretend that you are going to do it for two weeks and see all that weight you've lost... which turns out to be almost all water weight and very little body fat! When I found out how I fell for that, I was actually pizzed!

JUDDD just quietly helps us from almost every angle you can look at it. Weight loss, healing, elevated feelings of well being, bringing about a better relationship with our eating, etc. etc. etc. We talk about it over and over. Because it's all true.

And once we're at maintenance, that DD calorie level can be raised up to where we'd like to have it to sustain maintenance, and that's even more fun!
Best wishes, Pat

I missed you and THANK THE POWERS THAT BE FOR YOUR DH! Give him the biggest from me and tell him thank you for bringing our Darlingnikki back!!
A man asked Gautama Buddha, "I want happiness." Buddha said, "First remove "I," that's Ego, then remove "want," that's Desire. See now you are left with only "Happiness.”

Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

I had a very similar experience on HCG, except I wasn't tired, I just had periods of dizziness and near blackouts. I was on a medically supervised plan and I lost weight, but I SO HUNGRY! I did it with a group of ladies online and they were all totally not hungry and enjoying big losses and happy with the food. I was starving and PISSED OFF like you would not believe. I hated the idea of eating chicken on day two (seriously gagging at the thought...blech) and craved nothing but peanut butter (this was before I knew I was allergic). I had to get appetite suppressants because I was so hungry. Needless to say, after the program, I gained the weight back. I tried to do a few more rounds, but I always sabotaged myself.

I'm glad that you realized that it wasn't for you and didn't push through it. It sounds like it was really harming you. Good luck with JUDDD!
