What do you get from Schwan's?

I've recently found a Schwan's catalog and was interested in seeing if anyone ordered any low carb items from there?

Any suggestions for my first order?

Thanks
Nicole

I used to get stuff from them before Low Carb. I think their stuff is overpriced these days. It is convienent though for a quick meal if you can find things that don't have too high of a carb count....I'm guessing basically the frozen vegetables and naked meats...unless they have added LC options now. I haven't looked at their catalog in a very long time. Now, you've peaked my interest. I'm going to window shop now.

I always order the Hake fish. I really love it!! Its a bit over priced but to me its worth it for a fish that isnt......well.....fishy tasting!!!

I used to get the frozen snap peas too but they d/c them.......they were perfect to throw in a baggie for my pocket at work....oh well!

I don't get anything from them. I don't purchase premade foods. I have to admit though the stuff look kinda magical and fun like jack in the box food that you heat up yourself.

For convenience sake I used to do the pre cooked bacon. Used to be a better deal than Sam's bacon. Not sure any more. But do keep herb shrimp in freezer for quick din-din. And the frozen chicken breasts (plain, un breaded) are huge. And they do have a low carb ice cream (praline pecan?) I allow my hub to eat. Easy/convenient/quick only

Having said all that above- the frozen sugar free strawberries are fab.
