It's Tuesday - what are you eating today?

I found some extra lean ground beef at Kroger, 97% lean and 140 cals per 4oz. I'm going to make a soup of ground beef, cabbage, broth and rotel and just have that when I'm hungry today.

B: Burito with sausage and egg - that was close to 500 calories. I'm going to try and space out meals today (B)500(L)600(D)700 = 1800 calories for the day (although I can go to 1900 calories I'll leave a little gap).

UD today. Managed to get up and get ready for work without diving headfirst into the food! Got to work with my breakfast (but not put together yet) and got a call from my DH: "Did you look at the calendar today? We were supposed to go OUT for breakfast!" BUMMER! This is triple-punch Tuesday, and we were going to LaPeep. Sigh. Too late now. Maybe next week.

So, today I had my chocolate/peanut butter oatmeal. I'll admit that I kind of added some goodies to it, but it's an UD, so I don't feel bad about it.

For lunch I have salad, baked butternut squash and a hamburger patty.

Dinner, no clue yet. Hubby and I don't usually eat dinner together, because he comes home starving and has violin students most evenings to contend with. So he grabs something quick that I've already made up. By dinnertime I'll probably be too full to eat and ready for a DD!

UD for me, my seventh day on the WOE. My cold is finally getting better and I am a happy camper. Great DD yesterday. I felt a little hollow at bedtime, but I was so exhausted I fell asleep anyway and got through it.

Food plan

Breakfast--coffee with SF creamer, Fage 2% cup and a half, sprinkle of protein plus, 2 tbl walnuts

Lunch--2 large eggs, sausage, spinach and cheddar scramble, fruit salad

Dinner--some kind of meat and veggies

Snack--perhaps an apple with natural PB

Lots of lemon water

FD for me.

Yesterday was going to be a FD (my 4th one in a row!) but by the end of the day, I realized it had only been a DD! I still can't get over that, lol. I went to bed a little hungry but didn't even care, and I was able to sleep fine anyway.

I don't know about the rest yet. I am going to the grocery store later.

l--salad with lettuce, broc, caulif, tuna, chopped egg white, balsamic dressing (147)
s--not sure--meat of some kind and stir fry veggies

snack--broth as needed, with or without egg whites; might have a diet swiss miss if I feel I need it.

1:30 finally get to eat and I was sooo hungry, lol.

lettuce, raw coleslaw mix, tomato, cottage cheese, chopped ham, Bolthouse yogurt ranch dressing, raw broccoli, shredded carrot, evoo.

I'm going to have some Breyers natural Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream later! I haven't had ice cream in a long time, at least not a real good quality one.

Lunch plans changed. DH came downtown so we went to a hofbrau. I was good and got a turkey breast sandwich, just bread, turkey, and a smidgeon of jus, and splurged on potato salad.

Boy was that potato salad good. It was a huge portion and I only ate half (about a cup's worth--and that was HALF). Um, then I entered it into ************ and the potato salad alone was 440 calories! TGIUD! (Thank goodness it's an up day!)

6:15 p.m. having dinner.

-pasta (Dreamfields combined with mini farfalle) with Bertolli jarred sauce that I added cooked ground beef, plenty of mushrooms and extra veggies to... Topped generously with 3 kinds of cheese.

I made a salad too for everyone else, but I already had one today and I'm just wanting the pasta.

My job brought breakfast this morning and for once I was actually able to participate! It felt wonderful!
I had half a cinnamon roll, a cream cheese kolache and sausage kolache...yummy!
I figured about 500 calories, lunch was chicken and salad and steamed broccoli and zucchini, snack of a boiled egg
Dinner was steak, salad, peas and a boiled egg
Snack later of yogurt mixed with cottage cheese

I'll be about 1800 calories

You know it's very cool to realize I can eat carbs like that and it not cause major cravings or make me crazy hungry and want to eat everything in sight. I ate what I ate about 8am and didn't have lunch until about 1230. Im gonna be so scared to get on the scale tomorrow though!

I came home at 8:30pm with 1,000 calories left. Had to kinda force some food down. I mean, I wasn't hungry. On my UD, no less. I often get a little freaked out by how well this WOE eating works

Supper ended up being cube steaks and stir fry veggies. Today was a dd, and was a bit harder than the first 3. I was def more hungry today for some reason.

Had some lemon/honey/acv/evoo tea with a spoon of Sleep Assure stirred in a while ago. I have an ultrasound on my gb tomorrow a.m. and can have nothing until after it's over, so I will probably go ahead and make it a DD.

Thing is, for some reason I felt like making a homemade cheesecake today, and it's in the fridge getting cold, ready for cherry pie filling. I will fit cheesecake into my DD tomorrow, just wait and see!
