I'm about to go crazy =\ need some recipe help

Ok so I'm really close to having a breakdown and eating whatever chocolate packed, frosting covered, donut looking thing that I can find. Tomorrow is an UD and I'm excited for it, but I don't want all 2k calories to go towards eating cake lol.

I know there are some recipes posted on the DD recipe thread, but there are so many pages to look through. I was hoping I could get some suggestions here.

I came across a suggestion to use diet coke with a cake mix instead of the other ingredients but that would still make a cake of about 1500 calories. Thats not including frosting - which I can't seem to find a low-cal version of. Though this would be great on an UD but I was wondering if there were any other options out there for something even more low-cal?

What recipes have you discovered that take care of your sweet tooth on an UD while not making a huge dent in your total calories? (I'd like to mention that I'm usually not a one-piece-of-cake kind of gal lol)

I'm fond of the 100-calorie packs of popcorn. I also like the SF Jello pudding packs. I've found that when having a total calorie amount in mind, it's easier to "spend" my calories wisely, and I end up with plenty of calories for sweets. I make low carb treats fairly often, like SF cheesecake or SF Carrot Cake and only eat them on UDs. I definitely didn't used to be a "one piece of cake" kind of gal, either, but if you pace yourself, and with the natural appetite suppression JUDDD can give, you can usually make good choices. You may not do it perfectly to start with, but it definitely gets easier!

I make a delicious lowcarb berry coffee cake for my up days that is so good and filling. Does require some special ingredients:

dry: 2 Tbs coconut flour (50)
2 Tbs vanilla protein powder (35)
1/2 tsp baking powder,
1/2 tsp glucomannan powder. mix together.

Nuke 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries for 30 seconds til just barely thawed. mix into dry mix.
Add 1/3 cup eggwhites and 1/3 cup davinci sf syrup. I use raspberry.
mix well and let sit for a minute and then nuke for about 1-2 minutes checking (you want it to be just barely set).
turn out onto a plate and if you like, top with a little more sf syrup. so so good and less then 200 cals.

I dont have the specialty ingredients so I'll have to get those, this sounds yummy and fits great with my UD.

Dottie -yup I know about that thread as I mentioned, but when there are 14 pages of random recipes to go through and a slow internet connection its a little tedious. I was hoping there were some who wouldn't mind if I weeded out the dessert recipes.

Daisy - lol I got a whooole bunch of that n my fridge, but in my heart I'm a baker lol.
Red- this appetitie supression needs to happen soon! I almost attacked the cookie monster through the TV.hehe

Sorry, the link was to a specific recipe in the thread, not the thread itself

When I absolutely NEED a chocolate fix on a DD, I have a cup of sugar-free hot cocoa, and add a bit more cocoa powder. Then I add 1 tbs of heavy cream (50 calories, but worth it for the richness it gives).

Omg Dottie I love you for that. Pineapple upside down cake is my all-time hands down favorite, thank you thank you thank you.

Thanks Synger! I keep forgetting about the hot chocolate I can. Though I'm not the biggtest "drink dessert" fan it'll come in handy when I get a little desperate lol

I used to make instant sugar free chocolate pudding.. don't use as much milk as called for (skimmed milk) so the pudding is extra thick.

Then drop by spoonfuls onto a foil-lined cookie sheet and freeze the little blobs hard.

They're like little frozen Hershey's Kisses. Pop one into your mouth and let it melt as you yum around on it! Very satisfying and very low cal!

You can store these in a container in the freezer and use them as desperation calls for!
