DD - So what? Eat out anyway....

Some of my coworkers were going out to lunch. Since it was a DD, I really didn't think that would work for me, BUT......

I just had the BEST salad ever from Cafe Rio. Just lots of romaine lettuce, fire-grilled chicken, pico di gallo and fresh cilantro.

The pico gave it a mouth feeling of dressing and tons of flavor (had plenty of onions in it, nobody better want to come into my office this afternoon), the grilled chicken gave it a smoky deliciousness and the romaine was crisp and fresh.

How much damage did this little (nope, not little - this sucker was pretty big...) treat cost me in calories? A whopping 146.

Oh, yeah, oh, yeah.....doing the happy dance!

If you want something badly enough, you'll find a way. If you don't you'll find an excuse.

ITA!! I had a DD on the road...no choice but to eat out. We ended up at a family restaurant where I got a fantastic crock of French onion soup and a diet soda. Easy on both my wallet AND my calories for the day.

It can be done!! Great job!!

You know the laws of dieting. All gains are water weight. All losses are of fat! --SoHappy

I often grab a Subway salad or a Wendy's small chili on a DD. Whatever works, IMHO!

JUDDD got me where I want to be!
