Common Phrases of the JUDDD household

I was sitting here thinking how we all are one happy family, and that we probably share quite a few of the same quotes in our household, such as:

"Man....Am I glad tomorrow is a down day!" (Usually after an obscene dinner out )

"Good Heavens! I just bought these pants/this shirt/this skirt...and now it's baggy!"

"I wonder how much of that I can have for 100 calories?"

"No, honey, don't eat that!! That's my special down day food! You can share it with me tomorrow!"

"I'll just save this for my up day tomorrow."

"I can't believe I ate __________ and I am down more than a pound today!!"
(In my case, key lime cheesecake...the REAL thing)

"Am I losing weight too fast?"

"I don't know if I can eat all this. But I really should to reach my up day calories."

"WHERE IS PAT AND LINDA?"

lol, this reminds me of those videos so popular right now, "Things __(fill in the blank here)__ say". Of course the first word's not things, but maybe we could change it to THINGS JUDDD BUDDDS SAY to make it forum friendly if someone ever makes a video

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

"Is it an UD?" - looking suspiciously at the delicious DD meal you've made and wondering why they haven't got it?

"Is it a DD?" - whilst wondering why you're staring a single piece of toast in a loving way - you just know you're going to enjoy every single bite!

"I just can't believe it"

"We know counting calories doesn't work, but....."

"How can I make this work" - when invited out unexpectedly by friends on a DD - and you've already got eating out plans on the 2 UD either side of it! And knowing you'll find a way - because this WOE is so forgiving!

Nobody knows I am Judding, so mine are:
"oh, I really fancy a biscuit/ piece of cake /chocolate bar, think I will have one tomorrow. ( dh looks slightly puzzled)
Next day:
" where is that biscuit/ piece of cake/ chocolate bar? I was looking forward to it!"
Dh ( looking slightly puzzled) "I ate it. I thought if you had really wanted it you would have eaten it yesterday when you mentioned it!"

My DH has finally figured out there can be a possible mid-range... the MD. So now occasionally when I'm doing a DD and he is thinking it would be fun to go out for a restaurant meal, he'll say, "Well, can't you just make this one of those Middle Days?"

He used to be real good about postponing a little meal out until the next day when I could enjoy it more. Now he thinks those Middle Days can solve this little dilemma for him!

This is actually a very good heads up for me with my DH---You know men, they usually think the same!

Joedi, it must be really hard to keep this from your Hubby! Can't you be vague and tell him you are trying to eat healthy and lower calorie every other day instead of actually telling him you are only eating about 500 calories?

It IS hard! He knows I am trying to eat healthily....but ever since we met, 18 years ago, he has seen me do different diet, go up and down the scale, suffer from bulimia, and, at times eat very little!
For him, me eating less calories every other day would simply be me starving myself every other day, in order to "stay skinny". he is a big fan of moderate eating, something I have never been able to do. (i am expert in eating little or eating loads...which is why I can do Juddd!)
I love him to bits, and he loves me, and I would just hate to make him worry any more about me...he already thinks - and he is right - that I obsess far to much about my body and weight.
I just dont quite know WHAT to do about it!
