D: either a veggie burger patty or chicken breast in a low-carb pita w/sour cream/cucumber/garlic/lemon juice/mint sauce (tzaki but it's too early for me to spell it right lol) and shredded lettuce; roasted okra as "fries"
S: chicken broth w/vinegar, tabasco and a little glucomannan to thicken

DH is working two jobs today, so I think I may take the kiddo to her favorite restaurant, The Old Spaghetti Factory. The thing I like there is around 1000 calories, so I may save up a bit during the day. I just love that I have this option, and she gets to go to her favorite place again!

coffee with 2 T 2% milk and 2 T heavy whipping cream (only had one cup and I usually have several. Tyring to cut back with the cream so DD without cream isn't such a shock) (300)
L - Full fat Dannen plain yogurt with a large apple and banana cut up in it. YUM!! (900)
D - cabbage, tomato and ground beef skillet meal (500)
nothing after 7 unless a cup of chamomile tea

D: probably a salad, garlic bread, roast your own chicken, beef, pork meal - with sauces and potatoes!

1 orange, 1/2 banana, 1 slice toasted sourdough bread with about 1 T. vco, and then a concoction of 1 c. water mixed with 2 T. fresh lemon juice, 1 t. acv, 2 t. evoo, and 1 t. honey. This is to help soothe my gallbladder, I hope. I have an appt. with doctor next week to check things out.

UD and still sick

Not feeling much like eating, so trying to eat high calories when I do eat. So
far I've had my beef florentine skillet dinner, 2 servings, for 590 calories. I can't
imagine eating again today- but maybe after some meds and a nap, I'll think
differently. Next meds are due in 90 minutes. Maybe a slice of cheesecake later?

Have added 380 more calories of sandwich.. ham with bread & butter pickles on black pumpernickel rye bread (2 slices) with mayo and mustard both. Very yummy!

Adding a Pure Protein bar to have along with tea.

That puts me around 700 calories for the DD part of my day. FD starts again this evening.

My sentiments exactly!

Today's UD was a challenge from the start! Went to bed hungry...woke up hungry. BUT I did skip breakfast, take my BCAA's, and complete a fasted workout (burned ~500 calories)! Whew. But, I have been hungry all day and craving chocolate! So, here's my report:

B: Skipped - BCAA's, Coffee & SF CoffeeMate
Post-workout meal: Swedish meatballs, potato, multigrain bread topped w/LC and tomato slices.
S: Waffle w/Nutella
S: 3 Toblerone pieces, some of my daughters tortilla chips
D: Gnocchi in meat sauce, peas & carrots, salad w/balsamic vinegrette, bread and butter

Calories: 2002

I must be doing something right despite all these calories because I wieghed in this morning at 142 which is not bad for an imperfect first week.

Entrecote & bearnaise sauce
2 1/2 potato cakes
some frenchfries
and some of DH's pork loin with a mushroom sauce (hit of the dinner!)
lemon sorbet with campari & prosecco

cough - 1/2 a bottle of red, another glass of rose & a rum and hot chocolate

seriously over and enjoyed every mouthful - but sooooo looking forward to tomorrow's dd

5:30 p.m. had an apple and then some spaghetti with lots of cheese.

Also some regular cottage cheese, about 2 T. evoo, black pepper and a carrot.

I'm being overly optimistic with this much dairy and fat all at once with the ache and other symptoms I've been having, but I guess I just feel lucky this evening.

I had a fabulous UD:

B: coffee, oatmeal
S: tangerine, cocoa
L: mmmm, this was the long, lazy lunch day.. started with bruschetta and a little arugula with romano, then onto to a lobster and cheese sandwich (like the best ever grilled cheese packed with lobster), onion rings, a small slice of thin crust pizza brushed with truffle honey (OMGOMGOMG) and topped with crushed pistachios...and then sampled an amazingly intense chocolate dish and a slice of pound cake in olive oil (I don't know how they cook it, but it was sooo good) topped with pistachio ice cream, blueberry sherbert and cream. Oh, and coffee.

I did bring some home for DH and I didn't really over eat, to be honest. My jeans (the ones that were snug a few weeks ago) didn't feel remotely uncomfortable.

Having said that, I had to lie down for a few minutes this evening, when all the rich ingredients made themselves known in my tummy!!!

I REALLY enjoyed all the wonderful food, I am NOT hungry for any dinner and I am thoroughly looking forward to my DD tomorrow

B: Coffee, 3 eggbeaters
Lunch: 2 cups chicken broth W/squeeze of 1/2 lemon
Snack: 2 cups chicken broth W/squeeze of 1/2 lemon
Dinner: 300 cals (when DH gets home maybe make shrimp with veggies)
Snack before bed: 100 cals of FF Greek yogurt (plain)

BTW -On DD I make sure I drink 9 to 10 8oz glasses of liquid because food typically has water in it, so since I'm having less food, I drink more fluids than on UD.

UD for me!

1 egg fried in a t of bacon grease with 1 piece of toasted light wheat bread, a little butter on to
Snack of yogurt mixed with cottage cheese and protein whey protein
Lunch was rotisserie chicken salad with a boiled egg
Small of 1 Apple, coconut bark
Half of a Otis smunkmeyer cookie
Dinner was rotisserie chicken salad. I made chicken Alfredo for the family and I actually had a little bit! Maybe half a cup cooked so it wasn't much but it was good!
I'll have a glass of wine later, even with that im still under 1700 calories. I may have a half cup of yogurt later with sunflower seeds to give me some more calories. Im only at a little over 100 grams of protein though so maybe I should eat some more chicken or maybe I should just bite the dang bullet and have some 85 percent chocolate with my wine. Hhhmmmmmmm
That would put me up to about 1800

Have added 425 more calories with meatloaf (w/ketchup) and a potato.

total calories so far are only 1045, so I'll certainly be able to work in an ice cream sundae this evening with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream with a cherry on top! Woo Hoo!

And after that I'll really be looking forward to my DD tomorrow!

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

I just had my lowest DD ever. I'm happy I pulled it off since I'm planning a mid day Friday and a free day Saturday to enjoy a big lunch out with friends.

B: Coffee with SF creamer and a SF hard candy - 75

L: 2 carbmaster yogurts, a chicken bouillon cube (good thing work had been crazy and I worked through lunch) - 125

D: Coffee with SF creamer - 65

= 265 calories

I'm hungry right now. Good thing it's 7:45 already.

Tomorrow I'm going to make kale chips for the first time. Has anyone tried them? If they are good, I might use them on DDs too!

Kale tossed in bit of olive oil & baked are great. I like to salt & season them before I place in oven. They're best right out of oven...
