WOE: Was LC'ing, now JUDDD Newbie
What's your rule when you are sick?

Found out today I have strep throat accompanied by a high fever, nausia, swollen neck, shivers, you name it.

Tomorrow is a DD and I'm afraid sticking with 500 calories will make me worse. What do you when you are sick?

I let my body dictate. Often times if I'm not feeling well, I have little to no appetite, so I respect that my body is wanting to focus on healing rather than digestion. But if I'm hungry, I eat.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

I haven't been sick for years. I just realized that. BUT, if I do get sick, all bets are off as to how much I'm going to eat or not eat on any day I'm feeling lousy. It'll just be however much makes me feel better and whatever food makes me feel better. Or nothing. Whatever makes me feel better is the key! LOL

And then when I'm feeling better again, it'll be right back to JUDDD.

This is how I've always dealt with it on other diet plans. I haven't been sick on JUDDD yet, but if I was the kind of sick you are I think I'd just eat/drink whatever I wanted. I would want to have plenty of fuel to fight it.

I was sick yesterday and it was a ud, but it turned into dd. I just couldn't
eat so I ended up with 2 dds in a row.

But today much better so it will be ud today.

i've had that for 3 weeks now....i've drank a ton of broth both chicken and beef....i haven't been hungry i think its all the crud in my tummy from drainage...one DD this past weekend i could not stop eating or thinking about food so i went up to 741c because i thought my body needed food to heal...i'm sooo sad to hear you have this, i HOPE you feel better!! advil cold and sinus, theraflu, nyquil, hydrocodone tussin which i got prescribed because nothing else controls the coughing fits....i haven't lost a lb since the cold...REST and take it easy, broth is my friend!!!! hugs!!!!
