Sweet Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

Sweet Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

1 small bag of fresh broccoli florets
1 small bag of fresh cauliflower florets
1 cup of mayo
1/2 cup granulated splenda (if too sweet, you can add less)
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup bacon crumbles
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar

Chop up fresh broccoli and cauliflower florets into 2 to 3 pieces (not super small but not whole)
Add the bacon crumbles, sunflower seeds and diced red onion to the broccoli/cauliflower mix.
In a separate bowl combined the mayo, granulated splenda, apple cider vinegar, and red wine vinegra together. Pour on top of the broccoli/cauliflower mix and mix together till fully saturated. Put in fridge to "set".

Enjoy!

Oh this reminds me of one of my favorite salads...it has dried cranberries in it but other than that it's very similar
Thanks for the great recipe!

This works with packaged Broccoli Slaw too. Doesn't have cauliflower but it's still good and saves all the chopping!

It is pretty sweet but the orginial that I remember also was sweet. I agree that next time I will make it with less sweetener

I love this salad..

However, my rule of thumb for my sweet/sour combos is equal Splenda to equal vinegar.
For me, it gives just a touch of sweetness..
